Good Video but one Thing: I think the Hollow Knights Shade isnt part of the Shade Lord because in this ending the Hollow Knight does survive and as WE know a vessels Shade only appears when their Shell breaks but then again we don't even know if the radiance in the pantheon is somehow still Part of the Hollow Knights dream prison or not so who knows.
The fact the infection died when we do the pantheon endings mean that radiance really was vanquished, the fact that the chains of the hollow knight broke too
Team Cherry said godseeker mode comes after the embrace the void ending. This is further shown by Godseeker's dialogue in that mode. They didn't say which variant. The shade lord is not made out of the Hollow Knight's shade as it comes out of the black egg temple in the embrace the void endings.
And basically because of this line "godseeker Mode happens after the Embrace of the Void ending" that i don't think Godmaster is the prequel or sequel of Silksong, i think Dream no More ending makes more sense to happen if Silksong is a sequel or a prequel.
What I don't understand what you main, in the embrace the void ending the shade lord comes out of the godseeker's body no ? And another thing is that the godseeker mode could be the dream of the godseeker répétition after the "embrace the void ending"
What I believe is that the Shade Lord would've probably done the same thing Radiance did to Hallownest. It would basically become its new ruler and consume Hallownest in darkness like Radiance consumed it in light and dreams. That is at least how I view it.
Everyone always believed that the Shade Lord sought to consume or destroy Hallownest, after escaping godhome. But I always thought that it would just return to the abyss like the Void did in the dream no more ending. If that is the case, then the last ending(s) is/are no longer a cliffhanger. But I could be wrong of course.
I thought the same thing, but when talking to my friend about it he brought up the counterpoint that even if the Shade Lord isn't intentionally being malicious or destructive, just its mere *presence* in Godhome seemed to mess everything up, so it entering Hallownest might cause trouble.
I believe I have said this before on a previous video that you have made, but the Shade Lord always struck me as the Void taking on a more physical form. We have seen that the Void has shown its own sentience, so it would make sense for the Shade Lord to be a form the Void takes to move around once the Knight reaches the summit of the Pantheon. As for what the Shade Lord does after it breaks out into Hallownest. I believe it would more than likely try to consume all light and life before returning to the abyss. We have seen that the void has wanted to break out of the abyss with how void tendrils attach to a King's guard outside the palace. Perhaps the Void's inherent darkness causes it to want to destroy light and life by instinct.

Just mindless dedication. And the worst part is the knight choose to be this way. Godhome made it pure. Godhome made it never consider it's actions. Godhome made it never give up. The Void Heart is an extremely powerful and unique charm, after all. So far as we know, there has never once been a power capable of commanding the void itself to do things. The Pale King learned how to use Soul to basically create a mind that could animate void fluid under a small, local area (a body), but a Kingmould was the best that a Pale Being, a God amongst Gods, could do with the substance. It may not seem that crazy while we're traveling the in-game world, but the fact that we're able to swim the void sea calmly in full darkness, that all Shades passively cooperate with us, that the White Lady can no longer comprehend anything within us. All of this means that by understanding its own existence, accepting the divine regret of its creation, the Knight has already become a terrifyingly powerful being in its own right. And *then* the Godseekers elevate it to its highest state of godliness through their attunement. Their worship, once turned to the many gods of the legendary Eternal Kingdom, was seized by the sheer might and determination of the diminutive twice-forgotten Vessel, and as it proves once and for all that it is the ultimate power in Hallownest, there at the pinnacle of Godhome, the collective focus of an entire world-traveling culture allows the resonance that the Void Heart granted to be amplified- indeed, Glorified. And then the Void yawned open from all the deep, lost corners of the world. It moved as one. Though I will say, those two-pronged horns making up the bulk of the Shade Lord's head crest seem awfully familiar despite everything that changes. Whatever the future of this world holds, at least in this crowning moment, we left our mark on it.
I feel like since the Grey Mourner is not from Hallownest it could be that the Grey Mourner is from the 'Lands Serene' a place outside of Hallownest and it could be that is also where Delicate Flower originated so if the 'Lands Serene' is powerful enough to like destroy or move the void then the place could be white but if the Shade Lord did consume Hallownest in the Embrace the Void Ending then if you give the Delicate Flower to Nailmaster Oro and Elderbug then i'm pretty sure they are teleported to the 'Lands Serene' but if the Delicate version of the Embrace the Void then i'm pretty sure that the Shade Lord got transported and who knows what happened to the 'Lands Serene' this is just a theory
People like to assume the Shade Lord takes the place of the Radiance if it escapes, but I've had my doubts. The Knight being the primary reason: he had a focus, which was to contain the Radiance. He doesn't have a direct idea of HOW, but he knows that's what he's meant to do. He has NO IDEA instilled in him on how to accomplish this goal. With no idea instilled, he is free in ways his sibling, the Hollow Knight, could not be. That's why we have so many different endings on how to accomplish the end goal. But however he does it, he has no purpose anymore, thus no reason to do anything with Hollownest. He either stays within the Black Egg, with or without Hornet, leaves Godhome or stays within the Godseeker. I won't get into if the characters who formed bonds with the Knight have anything to do with it, because then we'd have to argue about the Hollow Knight and his bond with the Pale King. But as a character, evidence shows that the Knight just wants to do his duty in the end, much like Quirrel. And like him, once that duty is complete, just...disappear.
