@@howto5480 I think his take was more, this is what I can tell you about XDC from what I can see on their Web page. With all the great things we know about the company. We should be able to get a similar take from the Web page. Definitely not the case. For a company that will break barriers of industry they could at least have someone "clean the windows" as he put it.

Just want to add a couple points. I don't feel XinFin is trying to compete with Ripple. XDC being utilized as the settlement token on R3's Corda points more toward an intra-banking use-case as opposed to Ripple's ODL service's use-case as an international remittance platform. Secondly, while it's true other EVM compatible projects will likely be on-boarded and utilized by R3, the distinction XDC has as the settlement token on R3's Corda chain is an important one.
A big part of what Ripple would like to be is a settlement solution peer to peer for banks, which makes sense as the same value transfer platform their customers use would be the same platform they use back of house and bank to bank. Who would want these two things on two different platforms?!
People get stuck on "this coin will be for this, while this one will be for that". If one coin is so good for transferring money, why use three or more for the same thing? Banks wont be like "oh this bank is in another country, so ill use XRP. This one is in my country, so ill use XDC." If one works for everything, theyll use that one. Same with the regular consumer. People say XLM is for the people. Regular consumers will use anything that works, and theres a lot of good coins trying to win that market, not only XLM.
The thing about XDC is that it sets itself apart for trade finance with no competition really. Europe will probably adopt these ISO 20022 tokens first anyway. They seem to favor XDC for trade finance and ALGORAND for payments. Some of Asia and Central America is using XLM and ALGORAND. I think these will all pop off bigger before XRP. I picked up a good bag of all of them including Quant today
i will be buying some of this, next month, as i will then have all the ISo22 coins (all 5) then, i have stopped buying other layer 1s other than Hbar, as its obviously a bulldozer........
Ripple is progressing much faster during the lawsuit then ever before..ain't nobody stuck here..Xinfin is a great project and it has it's place in the future most probably, but it ain't replacing Ripple and XRP

I don’t understand where everyone is acting like this is a new coin ?..it’s been with the other ISO’s for years ?..yes it’s been a slow spread for it’s network and partnership but that’s changed exponentially and getting bigger by the day …haven’t really had any problems with the website either but I do confess I never looked into applying for a partnership..anyway I do like your videos and chalkboard points keep up the good work…oh yeah xrp,XLm, XDC, ALGO,iota,HBAR,QNT,Casper all good cryptos (just an opinion)

I agree Max. To me it’s like going to a restaurant and finding their bathroom nasty filthy and you say to yourself, if this public area is as dirty as it is how much more dirtier is it in the areas that is not open to the public. Likewise if they’re disorganized upfront it’s gonna make you think what is it we don’t see in the back rooms behind the curtain…. total chaotic cluster? I was about to drop 5-10g’s but now I’ll go and check things out a little closer, see if they updated anything or if it’s still a cluster.

Diolch. I asked for this and have been looking forward. Interesting observations about the apparent amateurism of the project in some areas. My perspective is that in such fledgling tech, things will be scratchy here and there, a bit like an up and coming band having slightly poor production quality on an early record. Perhaps conversely, these things make me believe more firmly that I’m getting in at the right time, before it becomes more mainstream. I think Xin Fin would save a lot of money if they set their headquarters up in Gorseinon 😄

I like to think I’m pretty clued up on the tech and the applications of the tech and please believe I’m impartial, I do not care which platform I build on, invest in etc. I actually couldn’t care less. All things being equal its more like comparing a donkey to a spaceship, they’re similar and both modes of transport but one (Hedera) is far superior. That said it doesn’t mean they can’t both win or that XRP won’t be worth far more than Hedera in the future better doesn’t always mean winner.

Also, the XDC supporters saying things like 'what about this, what about that' yea, I honestly couldn't care if its the best tech in the world. Get the basics right or it's a no from me.

Good video. A couple points I'd like to make. I agree that xinfin has a horrible website. I was initially turned away from the entire project because of this website. But let's not rush to judgement based upon this fact alone. Their technical whitepaper and corresponding documentation speaks volumes. My opinion is that the xinfin network is a serious contender in the blockchain ecosystem. We are just still so early in the space. I think the developers have their nose to the grindstone and a website isn't as important in this early phase.

They’ll never need more trust from people then right now, it’s less important for Ferrari to have a good website because they’re already established and trusted, in fact not having a website or socials at all might actually make Ferrari more in demand and exclusive. However when your company is brand new you need to win peoples trust and especially when you’re a tech company, you need a functioning website at the very least, no excuses. You’re right though, doesn’t mean the tech isn’t solid. 👍🏻

Sounds pretty pessimistic, yet I noticed on another comment that you listed them among your personal bags. I presume then that you've become more bullish since this video? Also, doesn't XDC have a partnership with Microsoft?
What I buy and what I believe in long term can sometimes be completely different. Not to compare them but as an example, I believed dodge would 3-6 x in a short period and so bought some, I doubled my money and got out. I was wrong it went on to 15 x from where I bought in but that was gambling on my part. I haven’t seen anything concrete that confirms XDC and Microsoft went anywhere together.

Good content but there are many points that need more research. For example, the google trend this drop maybe the drop is due to the people getting it familiar with XDC Network and not XinFin Network. The order of utilities seems to be in the order of the new project first as I follow the project I can easily identify the order so it is not in the order that displays the best first it is simply the new project first. Regarding partnership their are more than what is covered. You have not given a word about the XDC Foundation. Maybe you can do some more research about the XDC Network, IMO
@Fnord23Gnosis I generally agree. However there will be some that will be every where (hence the name Hedera) the reason this will happen is vertical integration. A huge company like IBM adopts Hedera for their internal network, then they use it for pay roll, then for their external systems, then for their supplier procurement, encouraging their suppliers to integrate their system, then their accountants, then their payment systems, which connects to Standard bank, then Google Adsense and on and on.
Is this a project review or a website review? Why such a shallow research on XDC Network? You said you will go with top level information of XDC but you have done just a website review and no deep information on XDC
I talk about a lot, the fact that Hedera has better tech than anything else I’ve seen thus far doesn’t make me biased, it just means Hedera, based on fact is better tech. Show me a project that’s legitimately better tech and I’ll agree with you.
The Xinfin wallet is very very dodgy in my experience- I’ve lost money and nobody at Xinfin can help me. I have to leave my other bag of XDC on an exchange now. Not happy about it at all.
@@donny9589 I do, but you must use the Xinfin wallet in hand with the hardware - the hardware wallet is only needed to interface with the online portal. But yeah I’m pretty pissed off about their wallet and having the mess around with Ether addresses. Painful. And zero support from Xinfin.
I'm with you on this one. My first experience with XinFin was losing a good amount of XDC due to their friction laden wallet and no real XDC supported assistance/help. Frustrating and I know I am not alone - many have stepped up with the same issues. One of the most common complaints on the XDC Discord is problems with the XDC sponsored wallet! Not a good look for XinFin - like the many other points you raised. Clean it up people!

It won’t matter in time, there are so many people yet to enter into the space that when they do the projects that have utility and stand the test of time will fly regardless. 👍🏻
UGH why sell ANY XRP? XDC is cheap enough right now 😁 and btw there is no real competition between the two! ZinFin XDC is mainly for trade .. most of what has been described is minor stuff in comparison with TIO - The Internet of Things XinFin is THE Solution for Shipping containers on every ocean, harbors, railways, warehouses, and semi trucks on the roads in every country delivering massive amounts of "things*. XinFin/XDC is the main Blockchain player in the trade industry! There ARE videos out there about this important aspect of XDC! BTW XDC just made it into the top 100 Cryptocurrencies 😎 premiering this past week at the number 100 position. As of today still holding that spot 💪 Every item in the containers logged and trackable through XDC.

@@bubba7626 Countries all around the world now using XRP exiting the SWIFT program. US keeping them tied up while they try to get legislation in place to tax all their citizens! One thing coming out of it is exposure of deep corruption within the system! It'll be interesting when the case finally ends! Good luck to you. Absolutely the truth! No concept of the immenseness of this project! The explanation of IOT had me rolling my eyes. I expected at least reference to the international shipping trade prospective .. drastic contrast to the immenseness of XDC! Robotic farm tractor 🤣
