Madam, My son is 3.5 years old. He is studying LKG. He is having difficulty in listening to instructions and follow the instructions. He says one word for his needs. He is restless when we take him out. He is undergoing OT and the therapist tells sensory issues is troubling him. He is also going for speech therapy. Now my concern are we going in a right direction regarding his issues. Please clarify man.

Mam, are listening therapy and music therapy one and the same? What is the difference between tomatis and listening therapy? At what age can listening therapy be given?
Therapeutic listening is different from listening therapy and music therapy. I am not trained in listening therapy and music therapy and so don't know about them. I do not know the difference between Tomatis and listening therapy. Therapeutic listening can be given after 2 years of age.

Hi Ma’m, Aapne kaha Therapeutic Listening ke Saat SI hona zaroori hai wo parallel hogato chale ga.Aiseke mera beta weekly 2 days OT jata hai aur every 3 days TL jata hai
Thank you so much for clearing it Ma’m.My son does hmmmmm sound while eating and occasionally while playing.does he need TL?Iam unable to decide.I met a TL therapist she said 3 days in week for 6 months.
@@ishratshaik87 maybe she works that way!! Or maybe she is doing some other auditory intervention Protocol is to do one music for fifteen days everyday!!
@@ranikrishna4199 It depends on child to child. One cycle is for 15 days and we do for 2-3 months and sometimes pause in between. Mostly, I follow the program for a year with a few breaks/ pauses in between 3-4 music cycles if need be. It depends on the child.
