Should Harry and Meghan be invited to the Coronation in May?

Fellow royal watcher! What a fun spread. For the first card pull, Harry had a huge reputation for being a party boy troublemaker in his youth, whose exploits were constantly in the tabloids. I think it definitely created resentment for both the media and the family since he's said he felt his exploits weren't swept under the rug the way they were for William. As for the 3rd pull, oh gosh I could go on for a while about the level of competition between the duchesses. The two of them never seemed to get along no matter how much they pretended for the cameras. I do think the media played a part in this though, the constant comparisons clearly got to Meghan as seen in the docuseries, which is natural! But the dears were just constantly battling for public approval. From people calling Meghan more fashionable and modern which caused Catherine to change her style, to people calling Catherine more poised and sophisticated which caused Meghan to try too hard. Not an easy situation for either to be in. And then you have the rumors of how Camilla can't stand either of them 😂. As for the last card, I agree that it would be a bad look for M&H to go. While I am sympathetic to their grievances with the media and to an extent "the firm", you can't bash the monarchy in every single interview and then be happy to attend every single royal event. It looks disingenuous. Luckily their son's birthday is on the same day as the coronation (potentially scheduled on purpose 👀), so that gives them a good excuse not to go since that was their reason for not attending one of the jubilee days. I don't think an agreement with the media is at all possible. At this point they're obsessed with those two. If even the Queen's funeral wasn't enough to get them to stop, then nothing will until the drama is resolved. I think a good win win is if an invitation is extended but they turn it down. That way no one can say there's bad blood on Charles' part (even though there may be) and M&H don't look like clout chasers for still going. Great reading!
