This really will help me with my low porosity hair i've always used coconut, olive, castor oils for my hair when they aren't good so thank you+ smth to ask what can i use to steam my hair if i dont have a heat steamer
Most welcome 💝. One way to steam your hair without heat steamer is by using hot water, creat a tent with towel and steam your hair. And another way is, by dipping the towel in hot water and wraping it on your hair/head.
Im still confused abt my hair type, its 2a and i did the hair in water glass thing and the hair stayed on top, (low porosity) but i dont understand how bc when i wash my hair it gets wet easily, i have really frizzy hair and i dont know what to do bc i doesnt matter what i use or do its always incredibly frizzy (sorry for my english).
Maybe you should try comparing your hair characteristics with all hair porosities (Characteristics). And see which porosity (characteristics) is more common and try recommended treatment. ☺️
Sorry I’m late.. I’d be grateful if you read this cuz it’s too long 🥹🎀🫧🫶 Low porosity with very straight hair and faded highlights (but not bleached) near the ends of my hair. If I heat style, it can only maintain up to 2 hours at best even if I use a setting spray from a salon. My hair returns to normal completely in the next 12 hours so is this normal? 💀🤌 Is it advisable to wash my hair every other day? because my hair becomes oily in 2 days 😭 ( I do wash my hair properly…it might be because of the products..) When you said to change every 3 months…did you mean the packaged product or look for totally different ingredients? (while considering those mentioned in your video) ( me dumb 🤡) Last question 😅 what leave in conditioners do you recommend for straight hair?
Heyyy ✨💝~ Well this is longer 😂 !!! I know the strugle you're going through. This is the best routine I know, so far: •Comb hair with a large paddle brush. •Spray heat protectant. •(If you have flat roots) Matrix height riser -recommended. •Divide hair into small section, after curling, hold the curl in the cup of your hands for few seconds (10-20). •Roll it back up and clip it. (This might take a long time) Let the clips be there as long as possible. •Remove clip and spray hair setting spray /texture spray. •Comb with a small tooth comb. And all done !!! It is not advisable. But if you have naturally oily hair then try dry shampoo. OR using strong shampoos or washing your hair too much can strip its natural oils. This stimulates the scalp, producing more sebum and resulting in oily hair. Second option. Also consider what your hair needs every changing season / lifestyle. For now consider dry shampoo over leave-in, to help with oily scalp. Hope this was helpfull !!!💓
Yes my hair is basically the same!! It can't really keep the style for too long :( My hair would get oily the day after I shower but not really anymore after I started using this anti frizz spray. I'm not really sure what I should do. I've been watching so many videos about hair care and it's kind of confusing me now. So many things to do...
@@pikasheep hey 👋 at least it worked out for you by using an anti-frizz spray, you’re already one step ahead of me…continue taking small steps and dont prematurely think about other guides, just stick to one routine of your own, inspired from the vids you’ve watched of course! sorry if I sound like I’m giving u an unhelpful (& confusing) advice, I was trying to cheer u up 😭🫶
Tip about pumpkins seed oil-- I wouldn't recommend it. It can clog your hair follicle and you might start loosing hair time later. And you will not know why...
for low porosity hair would you recommend wearing hair masks? I'm currently using fino and tresemme keratin smooth mask on a rotation. I've noticed my hair looks thinner. My hair goal is to get smooth, shiny and straight- wavy hair but right now it is slightly frizzy and the top of my head feels dry. Is there anything you would recommend?💗
To achieve your hair goal you'll have to replace hair masks with "Hot Oil Treatment" (1× week, you can use any oil; mentioned in the video for low porosity hair) and "Deep-Condition with Heat"(1× week). Avoid products with smoothing treatments and those that contain Protein(like keratin). Use warm-water through out the hair wash process (warm water opens up the cuticles) and end it with cold-water rinse. "Mielle" conditioner is always recommended for low porosity. Also using Leave-in conditioner on wet hair works great (specially for curls/waves). Look for Hydrating, nourishing and light weight products. And ALWAYS use Leave-in conditioner (with hydrating formula). You can take ingredients guide from the video. Hope this was helpful. ✨💝 (Feel free to ask more)
Using mustard oil with caution is good option. And it's totally fine to not use conditioner, instead go for hight weight hair oil to keep the hair moisturized.
@@Headmaster-h4w • If you have oily scalp then avoid. • Do a patch test before going all the way. • Do not use Mustard oil for more than 3 times a week. • Don't leave it on for too long. And most welcome ✨💝 ~
Hey !!! sorry for late reply and here are some products for low porosity hair : •Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner. •Wow Rosemary shampoo and conditioner.
Hello .. actually i tried the water glass thing and my hair was floating (Low Porosity) but my hair looks like HIGH POROSITY hair. It's freezy , easily looses moisture and very dry ... So what should i do? Please answer...!
Hey !!! You should try to compare the characteristics of your hair with high/low porosity characteristics from the video. Depending on what you get, consider the given treatment. Feel free to ask more. 💝
Hey ....when u show high prosperity hair photo I have that type but when I to test of hair prosperity means(putting it in water and knowing my hair prosperity ) it always show low prosperity and .....I have see many pictures of high prosperity on Google and RU-vid my hair are of that type only ......what should I consider my hair prosperity....low or high ...... please help 😢🥺
Hiiiie ☺️ !!! I think you should check for characteristics of your hair. Wash your hair clean and then compare which side of characteristics it has the most (Low or High). It's in the video (characteristics) !!!
I have low porosity hair so as usual i use almond oil so to buy the indian care hair routine i cant use coconut oil along with the methi and curry leaves so should i heat the almond oil with those instead ??? Will it work???
Okay someone help me!! So i took some starnds fo my hair and after like 15 min some of it was on top and and in middle so ig it's medium porosity BUT i did it again with only half an inch hair strand and then it was floating on top but when i lried to sink it it was on medium so is my hair low or medium??
MAYBE you have low porosity hair, and ik it's quite hard to get a straight answer through the "water test". Try matching characteristics of your hair with each porosity, then you might find the answer.
bro i get dandruff easily my hair takes time to get wet they always feel dry but my scalp never feels completely clean and my hair are always tangled have textured strands and lots of split ends when i do the test the hair strand still floats i don't understand what porosity i have
I don't really recommend products but these are some you can consider using : •Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner. •Wow Rosemary shampoo and conditioner.
Just a theory, I just got into this today, but it may be better to know whether the strands of hair that are medium are close to your head or farther away from it. Depending on what is closer to your scalp that hair routine you should follow, since those are what grow out, while strands from the middle will be cut out anyways
I have one problem with hair oiling, i do that before shampoo then it goes all great but after washing you said to apply light weight hair oil on the strands, it really makes my hair greasy. Should i not do this?
Anyone help bcz when i tested my porosity the hairs were floating on top, but my hair characteristics are like high porosity....very frizzy, looks dull and dry but doesn't get wet easily...what should i do now???
You should definitely consider getting Deep conditioning treatment, hydrating hair mask and leave in conditioner for more hydration. By your given statement it looks like your hair's quite damaged and can be revived by treatments and extra care.
@@realbwb yeah they are damaged but i can't take treatment from outside. I will try at home and also when i apply oil my hair falls alot so my hairs are so dry and idk which hair mask and products i should use as idk abt my hair porosity bcz it has mixed characteristics!!
@@Shibalalalariii My love, don't worry so much, just go with the hydrating ingredients I've mentioned in the video. It's not gonna change overnight, trust the process 💕
Hey im having trouble finding my porosity because i tried the test and the result showed i have low porosity but acc to the characteristic mentioned in the vid my hair is high porosity and if i push the hair down during the porosity test even after just a few sec it goes down and my hair get dry very quickly after hair wash and looks really dry and damaged it is really frizzy. So can anyone let me know what type of hair i have??
Hiii !! I think you have damaged high porosity hair (I might be wrong). But right now your hair needs hydration, try treating your hair with hydrating hair mask & hair oil (rosemary), right after you wash your hair, apply hair oil in damp hair and blow dry. Leave-in conditioners are also a good option.
