Yuji Itadori has finally awakened. Now I gotta get this out before we begin but, I know the Yuta fans are not happy after theorizing this was gonna happen to him for the last 100 chapters of the series, but aye he’s gonna have his moment when he returns trust. Anyway, as we can see, Yuji lands his first Black Flash in a while against Sukuna; which seems to be an absolutely devastating blow, and we can see that he’s really locked in, his pupils displaying a strange look to them, similar to Sukuna’s as the chapter closes with it stating that he’s awakened due to hitting another black flash. What can his awakening actually be? Well, we’re gonna get into that with 4 different guesses in this video. Probably can't ever awaken his mom's cursed tech, Kenny more than likely destroyed his ability to use it at birth for his body and no awakening can bring it back. Yuji's only way of getting cursed techniques is to ingest cursed objects that have one, for example eating Nanami's sword would give him 7:3.

I personally think he already has Sukuna technique but it’s not what we think. Sukuna main ability is most likely gaining power through eating people/cures gaining strength and techniques from doing it. His domain is a storage for techniques he has consumed. Think he can modify the techniques instead of being a one to one copy of them. More likely he puts his own spin on it, making stronger. I see Yuji having something similar gaining strength through eating curses/curse objects and instead of eating people his interaction with people soul allows him to take there technique. I see this happening with Megumi maybe he pulls him out the body put doesn’t feel he can fight or just wants to be with sister Yuji helps him pass but keeps left of his technique. I have his domain being similar to Sukuna ,but has a different technique instead of cleave and dismantle. Wouldn’t be crazy if he has invisible punches potentially black flash punches hitting you, but it’s more directed. I also don’t think it’s crazy black flash becomes a kind of technique for him doing it a lot more frequently almost like he had it a technique.

What I would really love is Yuji becoming a master of his own soul, as in he gains the full memories of his past, his construction, and his full abilities, along with an understanding of his "mother's" whole deal. Almost like a Kwisatz Haderach awakening

well basically how blackflash works its essentially crit hit with fist/kick infused perfectly with cursed energy with low chance to hit crit deals 120% of regular infused fist which is not reinforced by using cursed energy .The person who hits it gets additional bonuses of being in the zone such as getting better understanding of curse energy,cursed technique or even soul (in cases of yuji or mahito).Divergent fist yuji used in first season is the exact opposite of it ,its delayed hit of cursed energy,shortening the delay of divergent fist helps you get closer to the ability to deal critical hit .

@@edgbarraWell, people get into the zone because you achieve a higher level of Cursed Energy control. The ^2.5 increase is probably like Thin Ice Breaker, since it's said that BF distorts space, so the space distortion probably multiplies it. Again, space distortion.

I actually think this kinda makes sense tbh... I mean not to shit on blood manipulation but compared to absolute adaptation and an attack that basically erases uou from existence, it feels... weak? I mean the fact you can only use your own blood already limits the technique to be weaker than the two at best. If what you are saying actually happens it would explain why blood manipulation is so prized after all. I mean, the 3 main clans cursed techniques seem to always have 1 big secret behind it: hollow purple wasn't even very well known in the Gojo clan, Mahoraga is known and feared by the big 3 clans but most people don't actually know a lot about 10S and blood manipulation seems to be the only one that lacks this.

The thing about having access to what I would see as essentially pure and unlimited cursed energy from this other realm is it's not too broken on Yuji as of right now. He may have that uncapped power but he's not really got any techniques to abuse it with, he has blood control and stuff but that's it as of now in terms of ranged attacks he can really use. So while in hand to hand he'd be a beast, he wouldn't be unbeatable by a long shot until he learns more techniques to be able to use that power with.

He’s nigh unkillable if he near infinite CE. He knows how to use RCT, and at a decently high level already. If he can reinforce his body + RCT he pretty much can’t be put into a state where he’s in a huge disadvantage. At that point range matters less and a domain/domain counters matter:

I'm going with mastery of Blood Manipulation. We've already seen what an afficionado looks like with 10S and Limitless. Would be nice to see one from the other big clan. This will probably augment his offensive and defensive baseline stats. Increased blood flow to organs for higher speed and strength# better CE control, and perception. Higher proficiency with RCT healing that rivals the strongest, perhaps even Hakari. Proficiency with all the techniques we've seen Choso use in offensive and defensive ways. Domain Expansion: *Catch These Hands*. No CTs allowed, just boxing. I don't see it being a Dismantle/Cleave. We already seen Yuta do it and while it was cool, was ultimately a blip in the fight.

The Cursed realm also makes sense because Rika has unlimited access to cursed energy when she forms and when she isnt fully formed she appears from some sort of black void where her arms and head come out. It could just be the shadow but also could be her emerging from the cursed realm with the pure cursed energy for Yuta to use

Yuji will have a awakening on using Blood manipulation. This is the first black flash after being able to use a Cursed Technique. His understanding of his CT will be the biggest part and develop.For example he can use convergence now. He will get a Gojo awakening after 5 black flashes in a row!

I think him having a more monstrous form could actually still work as it could still play into how far he would go for his humanity, to the point where he’s discarded his human appearance. Though, I do agree, I would like it better if he stays mostly human in appearance. My theory is, Yuji will go through more than one awakening similar to how Maki did. I think one will be an enlightenment like Gojo and the other maybe a more physical evolution. Also his enlightenment doesn’t have to be cracked out or represent Buddha, he can represent literally any other deity or ideology and the way he expresses this enlightenment can stay chill like in the same energy as the “I’m you.” moment.

My idea of a monstrous form is he locks in his blood manipulation skills so well he starts being able to extend it to his body. Then as sukuna manages to get away and use world slash we see a panel of yuji getting cut in half and sukuna smiling to himself then suddenly yuji puting himself back together, and as he gets sliced to bits by sukuna he just walks through it and his body becomes covered in blood and he just heals through it all, looking like a human shaped cloud of blood running towards sukuna. Yuji puts his heart, his soul, his mind and body into killing sukuna, turning himself into a monster that transcends humanity- and he achieves true immortality, without relying on anyone else.

I can see it in the same vein as when Yujis silhouette stood over the grass hopper spirit in Shibuya crossed with one of the hardest JJK panels: Yuji walking through a hail of slashes.

One thing Gege is good at is character development, he is not unlocking a powerful transformation, he just accepted himself as a freak who kills curses, basically the black flash unlocked his full potential, logically speaking if he unlocks new techniques it won't be in this fight cuz it is impossible utilize them with no training, so i believe he did learn them during the training Gege skipped and thats a reason for why he did.

Hey hundred, the cursed realm idea gege had may be inspired by the same thing that inspired stranger things. They call it the realm between dreams and wakefulness where energy is unlimited, it’s a black void, this inspired 11’s state when she was sensory deprived in water. One usage of this was called “remote viewing” that inspired 11’s ability as well. Quite a lot of similarity🕵️‍

Regarding the arms he’s got. I have a funny feeling that is what choso meant regarding giving yuji something to help use convergence. If it’s a cursed tool that is likely the case that its innate technique allows the user to manipulate blood. Which explains why yuji bites down on it when we first see him with the new hands. I still think his technique is both blood and soul manipulation. People seem to have completely forgotten the soul swapping thing going on with yuji ever since blood manipulation was all but confirmed. So I don’t think his curse tool was meant for shaking sukuna’s connection with his vessel. I’m just hoping this awakening results in him pulling off those insane feats he did when he lost it at sukuna, I wanna see the fight progress from building to building for shits and giggled

I'm kinda expecting Yuji to use Black Flashes at will. I think the 120% boost will help Yuji gain better control to blood manipulation since Choso said Yuji can't use convergence. BF buff + flowing red scale on top of smacking Sukuna will soul distorting black flashes sounds OP, and would easily put him on par if not greater than the Heavy Hitters.

@@perm1thurple581 Bro, Maki TANKED Cleave and at least one Black Flash. I say tank because she can't heal, so she survived without major wounds through sheer durability alone. Yuji, however, was on the ground for a few seconds every time he got hit with Cleave, and he had to heal what he himself described as lethal damage (and he didn't even heal fully because he was pushing himself past his limit and rushing the healing process so he wouldn't stay down for too long). Like, not to downplay Yuji, he's amazing and spectacular, but he ain't throwing Sukuna across the streets simply by lifting and spinning a sword like Maki was, she totally dominates on physical power even if you include Yuji's CE reinforcements.

I think that the cursed realm idea is interesting but I’ll build off of that We saw in the anime (not definitive but a good way to put it into context) when yuji lands his first black flash, it appears to have distorted space to a sort of white abyss and the whole water droplet effect. I think that’s the cursed realm. It would also make sense when jogo died, he was appearing in the cursed realm momentarily before getting sent to the human realm and dying like he did. Sukuna sent jogo there to comfort his soul to make sure he can’t come back. My theory is that yuji cannot only access innate domains like sukuna, but will also awaken to the cursed realm. Every punch that lands slowly separating megumi and sukuna until yuji and sukuna go one on one in the cursed realm. But most shonen manga would have the hero win, but gege doesn’t exactly care about killing off his characters. I think that yuji will sacrifice himself in the cursed realm to trap sukuna and lock him away forever, with no bodies left to possess or fingers left to eat, yuji will die the way he always wanted. Surrounded by the ones he loves.

I hold the belief that before the manga ends, Yuji will be able to use the black flash. If you remember , the narrator stated that "the sparks of black have chosen Yuji." But thats just me .

I think it’s actually more hype than anything that Yuji not gain any new techniques other than simply landing more and more black flashes and becoming better, stronger, and faster every time he does so. Sukuna gradually feels his ideals being eroded with every black flash Yuji lands and is finally forced to acknowledge Yuji as his greatest opponent. Maybe Yuji reminds him of someone from his past and disillusions Sukuna about his own mentality, causing Sukuna to die definitionless and lost (much in the same way Mahito did) It’s so poetic. We’ve known about Black Flash for so long. Everyone knows about it. In the end, it’s not some crazy technique or world ending force that takes Sukuna down. It’s the simple concept of a CE punch that will lead to Sukuna’s undoing. Yuji’s cursed technique will be called Jujutsu Kaisen, or “An Endless Battle of Curses”. Kaisen I’ve also seen can be interpreted as “Continuous Self-Improvement”, which is represented both through Black Flash and Yuji.

I think the cursed realm is just a part of cursed manipulation. Kenjaku is the only person to mention it and he has cursed manipulation and while it might be anime only geto’s curses are shown leaving black portals. Kenjaku probably just figured out how to enter it like Megumi and his shadows.

I doubt that Yuji's blood manipulation is his inherent technique. The consumption of his brothers probably gave different derivatives of blood manipulation, which allows him to manipulate different aspects of his body. I think his arms point to this, pointing to the fact that consumption of his brothers gave him manipulation over his skin, muscles, bones, and especially blood and perhaps other aspects. I theorize the full manifestation of this technique will mirror Mahito, and complete his character arc of becoming the monster that will mindlessly consume curses. I think he will hit consecutive black flashes for each brother he consumed, which will enlighten his understanding and control over his body.

i can see gege just doubling down on blood manipulation. for instance, since its stated he cant use convergence properly, i can see him use his own version of convergence. which would allow him to use different variants of piercing blood or flowing red scale.

Although yuji has BM , i dont see him relying heavily on it . He and others are totally dependent on yuji's soul seizing punches , so somewhere i feel he will get a domain and he will use sure hit effects of blood domain and using black flash (ofc at will) as an cherry on cake deal to finish him.

This is also another one of my theories. Megumi will be the villain. If he decides to fight back and regains control, he could activate the merger because he wants to end it all. He might also have all of his 10 shadows and sukanas cursed technique.

Gojo also learned how ti do red more consistently because he couldn’t hit red every time if you remember he tried and failed so gave bro the hands instead. And he also learned purple by learning red. Before his awakening he was only able to consistently hit blue

He will awaken all the techniques of the Cursed Womb Paintings and have multiple arms and other limbs. If you notice the cursed wombs all have body parts Sukuna has. A Stomach mouth, a double face, and, Choso even has the same nose marking as Sukuna. I believe we will find out Sukuna is also a fused being and it’s why they now share the same eyes. Just like Gojo said he has a higher chance of doing a black flash but not a perfect one because he can focus on all the factors to do one more so than anyone can but no one fully can. I wonder if like Naruto using a clone to rotate his rasengans Yuji’s inner brothers will focus on all the elements of the black flash. We may even see Choso die and Yuji absorb him to reach the full power fused being that Kenjaku envisioned and Yuji may even be the one to “continue his will.”

lets not forget black flashes give a way deeper understanding of one's own cursed energy, therefore since he has 3-ish techniques (soul punches, blood manipulation and monster arms) he will greatly improve on all aspects of those techniques instead of just getting a physical boost like in shibuya or goodwill when he didn't have any technique so imo we can excpect either a maximum technique or a domain expansion if gege is willing to go that route

Either gege fully commits to the blessed by the spark of blacks title which is one of the most unique things in the series cause theres titles such as the one who left it all behind, the honored one, etc but the one who was chosen by the sparks of black, the black flash the thing no one can do at will even gojo or sukuna, get surpassed by yuji who was blessed and chosen to carry the power of the sparks of black, or gege finally lets us see yuji use sukuna’s abilities like cleave

i love the last theory the most omg Yuji getting full access to all Cursed energy ala the Cursed Realm would be mind boggling! It could be something he has to learn to control to reach something of "broken 5D" status considering chars in JJK are barely 3D and like in One Piece chars are just touching 4D but Luffy has Gear 5 which though it has 5D potenitality, he has yet to reach that status at all; we also know that Sukuna still isn't going all out and a separate random theory I had is Gojo coming back but Sukuna stealing his body which would be WILD and definitely up the power lv of the series a lot idk just ideas

Yuji could be one of the only sorcerers to have 2 domain expansions …since there’s more hints of Yuji to have more than one CT. However ,I believe Sukunas trump card lies in Megumis perfected domain expansion and he might use that to try to tame the cursed beast . Yujis awaken means he can probably see through Sukunas cursed technique …
