I realized the important things that matter in life was the day my family cleaned out my Grandpa’s nursing home room! All of his possessions were in 2 boxes. What mattered were the 10 family members that were there in the room that my grandpa lived for 6 years to say goodbye! My Grandpa was a success by his faith and love of his family! Thank you for lifting my spirits. Your thoughts really hit home with me. I worry a lot about the future. I’m 60. I retired 4 1/2 yrs ago. My husband will be retiring in the next few years. I’ve got to trust God will sustain us. Those bible versus helped me. I’m so happy to hear your husband’s job is going well. God provided that kitty for him! I’m still praying for his conversion. I have been retired a few years. I am finding myself needing to something to do. I decided to start making videos on TikTok. This is a huge step for me as I am extremely introverted. I see all these people talking about how much money you can make. I am not focusing on that. If eventually it’s meant to be so be it. But as you say, that is not what makes someone successful. It’s more about stretching myself and having purpose. Thank you for always sharing you thoughts and the word of God. I love the way you share God and apply his word to your everyday experiences. ❤

I agree with how you view success after your recent experiences with your husband’s career and yours. I always have been successful and this past year I broke my knee, couldn’t find work, had to get help from the government to eat. I support my daughter as well as she goes to community college. So we decided to downsize, sell our house and find a smaller townhouse. With help from a former coworker, I got a job but a contract and a much lower hourly rate than I am used to. The job is ending in a few weeks, but I am excited for a new experience and am feeling positive. I am praying a lot more and I feel a connection with God.
You have an amazing testimony, my friend; resilience, determination, kindness, and gratitude for what you currently have, with hope for the future. I hope that your new job has been going well and is leading to another opportunity for you xx

It helps me to understand what gods words mean truly mean because Somedays I’m so strong headed that I close my mind and can’t feel the joy I’m supposed to be receiving from the Lord. Praising God that all is working out in his plan for you and your husband, it's wonderful he has been renewed. Continued prayers for you being together again and direction in what you will do with your house. I always try to remember whatever I do. I am working for God because everything I have is his and what he has given me as compensation is to steward. It's pleasing him, not the world or what I get as feeling accomished in the world. Love that God has put it on your heart for you to dig into this at this time.
