To answer your questions, Wearing hijab is obligatory in Islam. Some women choose not to wear it and it's a mistake but it's their choice tho, no one can force them on anything. Having a girlfriend or a boyfriend is forbidden yet some choose to do it and it's also a mistake. So basically if a Muslim says it's fine to have a girlfriend, boyfriend they're telling their own opinion not what's right in religion. And even those who say it's fine won't dare to have a physical relationship mostly, they will just chat, meet without telling their families or won't be that serious about marriage maybe! and again it's a mistake no matter what they say. About friendship tho.. to give you an example if they're colleagues at school, university or work they might need to communicate with eachother, it's fine but it's preferable to do so in groups and set boundaries like NO touching, flirting, weird jokes, unnecessary meetings... in order not to waste time or open the door for bad thoughts, desires.. So I guess the right word is colleagues not friends right! That's it hope you're not confused anymore ✌️ Edit: About marriage, guys of course we muslims take our time to know our partner before marriage that's common sense! If you ever heard of some force marriage cases, that's a small uneducated group of people doesn't mean we're all like that. and it happens everywhere with non muslims too.

Most of us confuse religion with our personal opinions I will say what Islam thinks about having a girlfriend , boyfriend or having friends First, having a boyfriend or girlfriend is not allowed in Islam, so there is a period before marriage. If you like a girl, for example, you can communicate with her father, he will get to know you, then he will allow you to communicate with his daughter within the limits of course, so you cannot have a sexual relationship with her.... After getting to know each other for a good period of time, you can ask her for marriage, and if you do not get along with each other, they can end the relationship well and not continue with it (The wisdom of knowing the parents is that both parties take the relationship very seriously). As for having friends, it may or may not be permitted according to the extent of its compatibility with the teachings of Islam. Friendship between the sexes is permitted if it is, for example, in learning and education, work and trade, volunteer service, reconciliation and peace. In this case, both sexes can communicate with each other on conditions, including: Not being affected by wrong thoughts or being carried away by desires, so this communication must be respectful and conservative. But if the friendship revolves around play and amusement, courtship and flirtation, sabotage and corruption, in this case the relationship is forbidden and it is not permissible to continue it, as this friendship violates the teachings of Islam and leads to many problems such as: betrayal of spouses, corruption of children, wasting time .... The straight and exact answer to your questions is very big and perfect "NO". Muslims are not even supposed to see or talk to the opposite gender (Na mahram) without any valid reason. If you have to do it, you are supposed to do it as much as is needed in a particular situation beyond that its haram and completely unjustified. This is not my personal opinion it'sd the ruling of scholars which is exactly according to Quran.

I don't think today's answers were mixed opinions. They all said the same thing that it's forbidden to have romantic relationships outside of marriage and hijab is obligatory, but not every muslim practise it just like Christians. A lot of Koreans are Christians but they don't practice all the rules in the Bible

I am a Korean Muslim I do get very strange looks but I was raised in Taiwan my mom is from Malaysia and my dad is from Korea and in Taiwan I do not get weird looks like I get normal looks I get bad words in Korea they think I don’t know how to speak it but they are wrong one day I heard my teacher talking about me and I’m 10 years old now and I’m used to Korea now I was raised Taiwan so I was familiar with the culture in Taiwan but now I’m used to a Korea and some Muslims don’t wear hijab until like the age of 30 or above and it’s not good and having a boyfriend is haram and forbidden in Islam and bye!

I wanted you to know that 1. it's true that we can't have boyfriend or girlfriend but we can do love marriage if we fall for someone or can do arrange marriage after getting to know that person before marriage.it's forbidden to date because of hearbreaks. 2. We can't be friends with opposite gender but if we have something to do related to work then we can talk without being friends. 3. Hijab is obligatory on all muslim women but still some don't follow it.

We don’t do dating but it is more of courting. You don’t just messing with multiple people while kissing and hugging, we don’t do it. We just stay friends ( but never meeting alone in a room) until you feel that you want to get to know this person with intention of marriage so you had to introduce yourself and your parents to the girl’s family so they know who are gonna ask for her hand in marriage later, and give permission for you both to get to know each other for few years but definitely no sex, no kiss, no hugs, nothing. It’s not hard if you truly love her. Just best friends who love and respect each other and then ask for her hand in marriage. Yes, you can fell in love with someone many times, it’s no sin but nothing more. You know what I mean? I like someone at college, but I don’t see myself marrying him, I definitely have no intention of giving myself to him. I just like him for who he is so I knew it wasn’t that serious. If I truly am in love with him, I see the future with him, I will ask serious questions about his vision, his future, plans, goals, invite him to come over with my family and friends for special occasions, like my dad be like yeah he’s good guy, working hard and is sincere.

If we are to follow islamic teachings we should not date. But life is not like that mostly. Because i started to work distant from my family, they would not be able arrange a marriage for me since my brother was also single. But i have found my wife myself. She was a teacher like me. But i remember that when we meet each other there was always her best friend with her.

In Islam it is forbidden (haram) to date or have boyfriend and girlfriend. If you like a girl or boy you simply talk to your parents and tell them that you want to marry them then they arrange your marriage.

Making it simple Every girl in Islam has right to choose her husband so if one likes someone than should speak about it to her parents and meet the guy and his parents and get the relationship done legal with nikaah, similarly if a guy likes any girl he should speak to his parents and ask for the girl from her parents for marriage.. being in relationship without marriage is forbidden And by chance if a guy or a girl comes across a marriage proposal and are not satisfied to have him or her as partner (for any particular reason) than can respectfully deny the proposal too because every person has the chosen partner by Allah so all happens as per Allah talahs will ❤ May Allah swt bless you all

Islam is strict, but all for the peoples safety. It's not as if the man and a woman will get married without knowing each other much. However In Islam it is always with the intention of getting married Say to the woman that you like them and would like to get to know them better, if she says no, then that's as far as you go. But if she reciprocates, then ask to see her dad. Tell the father that you would like to get to know his daughter more, with the intention to get married. Then with a third party (member) go out, ask a lot about each other, get to know each other, no holding hands or any physical relationship though. After you think you know enough about them, then you and the woman can make a decision on if you would want to get married. If no, then relay the decision to the father and be on your merry way. If yes, ask the Father permission to marry his daughter, and if he is a good believing Muslim man and sees nothing wrong with you, then he will accept you. Of course in their own time the father and the daughter will discuss, the father making sure she is happy and you are a good Muslim man. Done, there will only be problems if the father is too choosy when a good man asks for his daughter in marriage. In Islam the major things to consider for marriage are: the religious practise of the person, the looks, the wealth, the lineage. Firstly and most importantly, the persons religion, if they are good Muslims then this is the most important factor. Ask yourself are you attracted physically to the other person, it's not as if the other persons looks don't matter. Being in a similar wealth to the other person is good, you could find reasons for this if you were to look it up. Do the people getting married come from a respectable family. But remember that the absolute most important factor is the piety and the fact that the individual is a good Muslim, praying 5 times a day, and following all the other obligations, acting good towards others etc. Islam is perfect, this world is flawed, all the problems we face are because we don't adopt Islam properly. I'm not sure if I relayed all information accurately as I am no Islamic scholar, but this information should be quite accurate to the Islamic viewpoint.

Let me clear what Islam say about Boyfriends and girlfriends. Islam doesn’t allow Muslims to have boyfriends and girlfriends and it’s very clear according to Holy Quran but if you have intentions of marriage then you can approach girl or boy but without intentions of physical contact or sexual relationship. Majority will talk to girl or boys through their parents

From my understanding of Islamic teachings, friendship or getting to know each other between men and women is of course permissible... but we must protect ourselves from prohibited sexual behavior, such as getting pregnant outside of marriage, having sex outside of marriage, or making out, and other sexual activities without marriage. It's also not allowed to be alone at home or in a quiet place, because that is a way to avoid prohibited sexual activity. But according to my understanding, the hijab and veil do not actually have to be worn, women only have to cover their breasts and genitals and not wear clothes with the aim of inviting sexual desire. According to my understanding, Islam differentiates between sex and love. That's more or less what I understand, thank you very much for making this video 🙏❤️

@_sungmin_ you as a korean citizen what would your response be on this matter? Do they really discriminate Muslims or is it in some rare cases? I am a Muslim too we always treat everyone well and we don't pray mostly in work places. Only pray if the work place allowed us to pray in the prayer room in ofc but our prayer isn't scary. We never force anyone to take our religion. We only follow our lord Allah's guidance for prayer and life that's it.

Hijab is an obligation on Muslim women, and it is not to show adornment except to her mahrams or her husband..and there is no such thing as dating among Muslims. Marriage is often arranged for me. My husband came and got engaged to me. The engagement period was 3 months...Now, we have been married for 15 years, and it is a very successful marriage, thank God...
