I love the area and currently live just outside of Snohomish in the Three Lakes Area. The mayor of the town put out a bumper sticker that pretty much sums up how the majority of the people feel out here. It read, "DON'T Seatle my Snohomish!" BTW when the rioters were looking for a new place to cause problems, a group of them found their way to downtown Snohomish and were met with armed citizens who promptly escorted them out of town. Needless to say, they didn't come back!

Not true, it was a hoax started online, those were just high school kids and so the nutjob vigilantes went down there to fulfill their wet dream....to kill somebody . Thankfully the dumb rednecks didn't kill someone

Snohomish is the Antique Capital of the Northwest. Why not show Pilchuck Park? Snohomish is getting pricey though, since a lot of people from they city lived there now. I grew up there but that was back before it became what it is now. All the forest in my backyard was bulldozed to buld that Fred Meyer/Home Depot shopping center. It used to be so pretty back there. I remember seeing new trees naturally growing there. Sad. :(

Ya! Might as well invite a trillion people to this beautiful town. Already wrecked Bonny lake and Orting might as well overpopulate This town as well. Theres already Crackheads in Monroe so yes. Please! Invite a million more People to Snohomish. Thats a DAMN GREAT IDEA!

Snohomish is great, but that greatness is because the area has been able to fend off massive suburban development. You do mention subdivisions, but those are hardly typical when compared to subdivisions elsewhere. The downside is that prices are too high and are rising. The only solution to this dilemma that I can see is for western Washington to embrace high-rise clusters. The large numbers of apartments would decrease housing demand and preserve the nice small-town atmosphere of places like Snohomish. There are plenty of areas around Seattle where this type of development would not be disruptive. Bellevue is an example.

Seattle newcomers are quickly ruining this awesome city of Snohomish. I am already priced out of my apartment come February. It's really sad. I love this town so much. A lot of the small shops are out of business or going into retirement. A huge influx of business owners moved in from Bellevue. I cannot even get a hello when I walk into most stores downtown. A lot of the shops are starting to sell basically the same "aesthetic" and everyone is raising prices. But it can't be stopped, I'm just glad I got to live here for the time I did.

Stop ruining snohomish. Stop advertising this place to people. Hopefully the governor can keep prices low and keep crime off the streets aswell as homeless.

The only real negative about Snohomish is that it's close to Seattle. Hell, I live in southern California and I feel like I'm closer to Seattle than I wish I was.
