pagani are one of those cars that when looked at superficially it doesn't really stand out the same way a lamborghini does or a mercedes. but when looked at closer, its real beauty reveals. an absolute marvel of a car and the engineering behind it. thanks for the video!

This gives me the impression of a more thought-after V12 Vantage (engine-wise) fitted with a really good BOV. Those pops sounds really similar and it gives me the goosebumps like I did when I had my vantage. I'm really a 'guy who likes old cars' but tbh new cars like this gives me the feeling that ICE isn't dead.

Those bangs are insane..I had the same expierences with the car. Didnt know what to expect, but man what a piece of art.

Track mode often reduces throttle response to help put the power down out of the curves and to compensate for the nannies being turned off. Sport mode is usually the sharpest throttle response. That's likely why the car broke traction more in sport than track.

The only thing this car lacks in my opinion is a manual (non-sequential) transmission; otherwise, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s so good that the successor, Utopia, is offered with traditional manual as an option. I’m so jealous of you being able to drive this incredible machine, man!

In my opinion, this is the greatest hypercar ever made.

Having a manual transition is the strongest point on the car, makes it a real race car.

A similar type of manual shifting is in the 2007 toyota tundra. My dad has one, and if you put the shifter from regular drive to manual gear select, you pull to go down a gear, and push to go up, it's mainly there for engine braking when going down a hill, but cool feature nonetheless. I'd switch the direction tho, so it feels like a sequential.

ppl that complains about Pagani's performance just make no sense....Paganis are art pieces that one can drive around

Super awesome car, I'm really surprised to hear such a "slow" 0-60 time. Is that due to the gearbox? Does anyone know? 800+ HP certainly seems like it should be enough to be quicker for a car that light haha.

I must admit. I was not a fan of Pagani, but they grew on me. Now I like Pagani alot.

I have a shifter setup like that in my car and it’s so satisfying and gives fake sequential vibes 😅. Killduff Shifters makes them for every muscle car.

I love to see when some of ppl just enjoy its drive in this type of cars and it's so sad I'll never be able too. Well it is how it is but I love my 16 years old car.

The different drive modes have those different feels. That's just AMG for you. My AMG cracks and bangs in Sport+ mode, throttle is a hair trigger, suspension is stiff and aggressive, and the car is glued to the ground. Comfort mode, no cracks and bangs, throttle is more laid back, etc. Kind cool that AMG engines have similar characteristics no matter what car its in.

Other than the wooden shift knob (carbon or aluminum would’ve been better but that’s my opinion), this car is a work of art

hahaha see youre missing the point. i can tell with all the mercedes influence that horatio has definitely driven his fair share or mercedes back in the day. the bucking back and forth that you speak of looks like the exact same thing with the W203-era transmissions in mercedes cars. its an acquired taste, and it definitely isnt there for comfort or performance, but its a nice feedback. man when my w203 shifts and i feel that clunkiness in the upshift, its just a special feeling. sometimes at low speeds with my foot off the gas (2nd to 3rd) the car even kind of shoots slightly forward because of the bucking during upshifts, super satisfying! i would LOVE to drive and feel that pagani transmission!

Comfort is good because you hear the transmission and it makes the best high pitch noises

That gear issue at the traffic light is completely normal. On a single clutch car like this you should always put it in neutral at the lights so the clutch doesn't wear out.
