As someone who has been part of an amusement center's service crew a couple of generations ago, the cleaning, oh soooo much cleaning. The unreachable tops of cabinets get cleaned too. The littering can be insane on a bad day. Spilled bubble tea cups, sweet wrappers with half eaten sweets, tissues with heck knows stained by what, and worst of all, snot/mucus and spit. Stuck basketballs are a classic. I even had a young man who flung his ring into the gated area of the basketball machines once. Tough hours and most of the time(zone) you'll be on your feet like a retail job. There's always something that needs fixing, a jammed token, a prize to be exchanged, card dispensers that run out, buttons that stop working, while at the same time someone has to be around to man the front counter. The repeated jingles and sound effects from the outlet will test your mental fortitude as well. Most sound loops coming from the machine speakers last no more than 20s, try that for a whole day and you'll even find Don Don Donki's theme to be tolerable. You do get to pull the plug at the end of the operating hours and spoil the fun for the uncles and aunties at the fishing machines, the teens at the rhythm/racing games, the competitive ones at the fighting games. "Okaaayyy everybody, last gaaaaame" will be the final call to chase the customers out. Swore off arcades for at least a decade after that, but now I'm happily back albeit as a paying customer. Don't take your entertainment outlets for granted, there's tough work behind the scenes too.
