I understand the recharge thing! I was very far from home and was in a sorority. The best thing I did for myself to help was that I never lived with my best friends, just friends. It allowed me to have space when i wanted and I had a lot of friends in and out of Greek life. I was a biology major and a lot of my friends weren’t in Greek life from that major so that helped too.

I feel like Lauren is one of my best friends. Like I watch her vids and I feel like she’s talking to me, she gives great advice, and is a good role model! She’s one of the youtubers that I feel is very genuine to her subscribers. I can’t wait to see her new apartment vids!!

I'm so jealous that you got to live in this beautiful sorority house. I was in a sorority in college and our state didn't allow sorority houses for the longest time, I believe it was my senior year that got changed, I always wanted to live in one!

This was so interesting as a Canadian where Greek life isn’t really a thing (and I’m 24 so past that time in my life lol). Your room reminds me a lot of my freshman dorm! It was basically like yours with all the built ins but it was just me! I had a roommate who had her own separate room but we shared a little common space and bathroom! It was the best for us introverts because I had a roomie but also my own space ☺️. The double rooms though were not nearly as nice as your rooms! I like how your beds are on the same side of the room with a divider so you have privacy! Our double rooms had a bed on each side of the room so there was so little privacy; so glad I didn’t have to live there 🙈. For us, freshman year the rooms were just randomly given out but for the other years, it was based on GPA! Basically they made a list of everyone who would be living in next year from highest GPA to lowest and you would get to choose based on where you fell on the list. So interesting how different it is everywhere 🙂. You’re so cute gal 🥰

Back when I was in college, lived in a suite style dorm room. I’m also introverted. Back when I was in high school, I went to a small school (90 students 9-12) There was a lot of drama, I just had a good friend group. I loved the small classes but I agree, it’s annoying to see a small group all the time

I am exactly the same way!! I went home to recharge on the weekends after living on our sorority floor all week and it helped keep me sane lol!

I’m brand new to your channel and I’m loving this video! Sorority life wasn’t for me as I’m a professional ballerina trained in Moscow, so I’ve been spending a lot of my life in Europe, especially Eastern Europe and the former Soviet countries. I’ve always been intrigued by Greek Life AND I’m obsessed with all sports especially the three types of football 🏈 ⚽️ I love how you said it’s an “SEC School” and I totally got it. I actually speak about the U.S. geographically by College Football conferences 😂 One of my secret talents is having a photographic memory and I’ve memorized all of Div I&II Mascots. A half Brazilian and half Portuguese Eastern European looking professional ballerina who knows Roll Tide, War Eagle/Tigers (why does Auburn get two?!), Bulldogs, Vols, Gators, Beaux Tigers, Miss St Bulldogs, Rebels, Wildcats, Razorbacks, Commodores and Gamecocks!!! I’ve been to a lot of games in person and I watch GAMEDAY, but I haven’t been to an SEC game yet.

My college had sororities but no sorority houses. PA had a brothel law at the time. Even without a house dues were hellish expensive was way back in the stone ages before the Internet. I ended up dropping out of Rush. I knew it was more than I could handle with time and my finances. Best decision. Sophomore year, I was part of a charter class for Alpha Phi Omega. It was the perfect solution for me… Just enough social activities, a ton of philanthropy and much easier on my budget.
