I’m 14 the zl1 is my dream car and my brother started working at 18 and got a hellcat at 22. So I’m going to work at 16 that way I can have a zl1 at 20, I can’t wait to work hard as he did to get his dream car

Go to a Credit Union and get a “SECURED LOAN or SECURED CREDIT CARD” Do the right thing with it and that’s how you can establish your credit little Homie then you’ll be buying cars and homes with no problem. TheMMABoom I actually did I started with a 4th gen base model then got a 2011 Synergy Green SS owned it for a bit then in November upgraded it to a 2013 ZL1
It’s even crazier in the 10 speed in performance mode. You can be beating the car up and down speeds, and the car just keeps up and down shifting like crazy. Great for road courses.
@@blackice7408 it’s when you blip the throttle to match the engine speed and transmission speed so that their is a close to seamless connection between the two when you let the clutch go after going down a gear or two.
ive owned an 8 speed hellcat, 10 speed 5.0, Gti, 2 6 speed camaro SS, and 2 manual Zl1s. the Zl1 is by far my favorite. i daily it and it drives so good, handling is absolutely perfect, and it sounds so good.

The camaro Is literally my dream car, but the problem for me is the left hand steering coming from the UK and also import fees etc But it’s soo cool seeing the ZL1 specifically dope af
My last car was a black 2018 ZL1. Looked great after being washed but didn’t stay that way long. It was a monster to drive but was also a dust magnet. Traded it for a red 2021 C8 which stays clean much longer.

I wish you’d have driven it more aggressively…just once or twice. I felt like I was with an old lady driver. In my LT1 I like to occasionally ease off from a creep in first gear then hit the accelerator hard but not hard enough to lose control, then bang second up to 60 or 70 then back off. That gives me all the thrill I need without getting into too much trouble!
love that you do a lot of downshifting when coming to a stop, so we can hear that beautiful rev match feature. however, during actual normal daily driving, it's probably wiser to use your brakes a bit more, since brake pads are cheaper than a new clutch (if all you ever do is engine brake).
Cool video and obviously fantastic car. Gotta ask, is it really that much of a pain to see out of? Like all 5th and 6th gens are famous for? Or do you get used to it pretty easily? (I'm 5'7") Anyway, the supercharger whine reminds me of the engine sound they used for the DeLorean in BttF, I like it!
Little late here but yes you definitely get used to it. Though it still is not great. Seeing how close you are to curbs is a real issue in the front, and obviously massive blind spots. It’s definitely not so bad it’s not daily able or something though.
When u get on the accelerator before u know it u doing 100 plus MPH....I know first hand because I just bought a 2021 ZL1 with 1LE with the 6.2 supercharger and I hit over 125 mph on the interstate and didn't even realize it until I looked at my speed....
My dream car right now is a Camaro ss 1LE wanna make it a track car so i will be getting the camaro ZL1 1LE front bumper because it’s more aero dynamic with a APR wing and then a whipple down the road

Was this a five speed or did he just not use sixth? I know the stock trans have a long sixth and isn’t good for accelerations or something. I can’t remember.
