I own the race version ZL1 1LE. this guy is an idiot for driving this car fast on the street. It ain't a tough car to hammer on the gas and point it as in any idiot can do it as you have seen. Try slowing it down from 160 to 90 mph in 250' to slide/drift a thru a sweeping corner and then hammer back down at the apex till u gotta brake or turn again ---- it's called a race track and another car is on your tail pipe or worse your door knob all the while

Just got my 2022 three days ago. Still breaking it in but wow what a magnificent car. Like nothing I’ve ever owned. I used to think my 392 Challenger was pretty bad, and it was a great car for what it was designed, but the ZL1 is in a league of it’s own. Best purchase I’ve ever made, minus 0 regret.
the pov about the ZL1 was awesome. that eas impressive with the six speed manual, but with that ten speed automatic, the vehicle is a missile. a shout out to CHEVROLET!!
looks like the back end kicked out a little to the right when you were doing about 80 to catch up to that Audi or whatever it was. haha. Nothing like doing 80 and gassing it to only go shimmy shimmy
Ordered a black convertible ZL1 one month before the virus hit. Praying the virus issue doesn't affect the build quality. The gearing is definitely way different than my 98 Trans AM, WOW!!!
I think you have made the best ZL1 vid out there. I have a 2022 and just can’t get enough. Can you tell me the cam you are using and how your getting such good audio?
Hello! Sorry for the delay. I was using whatever the newest gopro is at the time. I have one on my head and then another go pro suction cup mounted to the rear bumper. I would have both recording at the same time and then using editing software, I would attach the audio from the bumper mounter gopro to the video footage from my head.
Nice ride, and nice video. - I'm sure it looks far more edgy on video, but that was a bit intense. Nothing but roadside trees, foliage, blind corners, intersecting side roads and driveways...... I like to keep my vision distance well beyond my required stopping distance. Takes the "Russian Roulette" element out of things.
Dang Sir! There’s something about this video that is raw and unadulterated. Gives a good sense of how visceral of a ride it is. I was contemplating if this would be an ideal track/canyon car or if it is too tame. Point made!

Hope you were able to get it. I had to sell mine to afford school but I am hopeful to end up in another one soon! This car ended up being built by vengeance racing and made a little over 700whp with 720wtq.
Mine 2..! Love my M6. I understand the particular “grip” on the wheel. Always kinda waiting for something bad grip. That car just gets down and rides out. It’s an incredible vehicle.

I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I sold the car about a year ago and it is now in Tennessee. I sent the car to vengeance racing and it made 985hp/870tq. I plan to get a 23' 1LE and go for 1000hp.
I have a 2021 camaro ZL1 1LE and it is a monster on the interstate.....I can tell u that within a blink of a eye if u doing 65 and u get on it....it will be over a 100 mph before u realize it....I know first hand because I had mine at 160 mph and I was glad there was no cops around when I did.
If I had driven mine like this, sure enough I would see the police! I see you don’t mind driving yours on the redline! Be careful!! They are faster than they feel!
I know these things have industrial strength clutches but those launches have to wear the crap out of them. At least you're enjoying yours. I see used Camaros with 12,000 miles on them all the time and I wonder why the original owner didn't drive it more. Maybe they all had heart attacks when they had to replace their first set of tires.
Nice drive, though the car can handle corners much faster. I get it though, tires and brakes are expensive as F on these cars and if you dove it this way every day you'd go broke. Thaks for sharing
This video is legitimately what pushed me over the edge to go buy a Camaro lol, it's just a 6spd LT1 model no blower, but I drive it just like this fuckin dude does whenever I can.

Just curious, what gears do you get rubber in? Obviously 1st, but is there any rubber in 2nd, 3rd? Does it spin in 2nd with traction control on? Off? 3rd?
Don Bachek i found the best launch and zero to 60 and zero to 100 times are with all traction control settings on , in track mode , drop the clutch at 2000 rpm and use the no lift shift feature between gears . Very limited spin on launch and little to no loss of traction between gears...my zero to 100 time is 10.4. Zero to 60 is 4.3....
Don Bachek I get traction in every gear for the most part. The traction control system in this car is very good. I only drive with traction control off when I have my drag pack on.
