I am a native English speaker, but I enjoy watching your videos anyway. One correction, though: "despise" is a STRONG dislike rather than merely not liking something. It means having contempt for someone (or something) and is closer to hate than dislike.

I got them all right. However I'm aware its my passive english. When it comes to speaking I have improved a lot but being a perfectionist that I am and having high expectations for my self I often get frustrated of not reaching that C1-C2 break through. Again I've to remind myself that language learning is a life long journey and results dont show up in a day.

I could have gotten all of them right but the idiomatic expression of : keep it to a dull roar was a lil puzzling and I went for the the meaning of being relaxed 'cause I could tell that Rex was kinda jazzed and almost hysterical, that's why my answer, anyway I don't know if that expression might work as being Relaxed either, but what really matters is that I really relished this vid and got a kick outta this funny lesson besides having released me positive results of advanced speaker, which really pumps me!!

It was a good test, I got 16 of 20, I didn't get four words, which are stroll, keep it to a dull roar , meeting adjorned and on a rampage.

20 out of 20. Honestly, I didn't know the meaning of 80% of the words and phrases; I just figured them out from the context. I also got a C1 level in the IELTS exam

Even i didn't know all the words but looking at the situation in that word is being used, i corrected them all 😂😂😂

I got all of them correct. But that doesn’t mean I would use it in my daily speech. And native speakers barely use idioms and high level vocabulary in daily life. Good to know and understand though.
