What Luke Skywalker Did AFTER Return of the Jedi (LEGENDS & CANON Lore Compilation) 

Personally I’ve decided to disregard Disney “canon,” preferring Legends continuity as it’s not only vastly superior in story telling but it’s actually faithful to the characters in both the OT and Prequels albeit with the Obi Wan Kenobi mini-series being the sole exception IMO. Disney’s butchered the Star Wars universe and it’s a complete joke.

I believe that canon is whatever does not conflict with the original intent and work. Makes 80% of Disney SW just bad fanfics lol

When I was about ten the Thrawn trilogy was absolutely huge. I loved those books and the others that followed and filled in other time periods. I miss those days.

Prefer Legends it did Luke justice show how far he grown as Jedi even surpassing his Father becoming grandmaster of the new Jedi order and have family of his own he has his ups and down but a Jedi life going have it struggles but I think he has a life worth living.

i love this franchise so much but i find it very frustrating to understand the lore (not the movies). im not interested in the so called "canon". i want to read the legends, or in other words the comics when lucas was in charge, but i cant find them anywhere. i cant buy them since disney doesnt release them anymore, and i cant find them anywhere on the internet. most youtube videos do compilations, which are out of chronological order. and then again i just saw episode 7 and 8, and yes this universe is doomed if disney doesnt sell it.

I definitely prefer a majority of his exploits in Legends better. I think Luke became a TRUE Jedi in ‘canon’ and I like the Knights of Ren clash as well as that Battlefront ll ad well as Mandalorian cameos. Disney really needs to explore his exploits and power more in canon after ROTJ imho.

Why would you want anything to do with the Disney prequels. They are not Cannon they're garbage. I like the fact that you're able to track what Luke did after the death of a second death star but anything to do with the prequels is a complete turnoff.

18:57 Now this is what I accept. But The Disney version was confusing. I normally would watch a set of movies a total of 9 times because I loved them. Not to watch them a total of 9 times because they were totally confusing. I’m not hating or loving 7-9. Looking back from all the years of movies I’ve watched. There were some movies that went on to sequels like 2,3,4&5. But they kept the original story or whatever it was There. They even had origin story of the main character(s)how they turned evil. To give more depth to the character(s). I always felt it was rushed/something like that. But that was yrs ago this is now.
