What I really like about Re:Mind is all The Guardians of light teaming up in a fight and not disappearing right after cutscenes. Example: Keyblade Graveyard
Final mix content that adds post game content, extra missions / boss battles and extra cutscenes to fill out extra details. Remind adds all of that, extra Explorable areas, new / returning characters and post game story that expands on the original game. I don’t mind paying $30 which converts to just over £20 for me. I’m excited!
Tbh after being disappointed with KH3 when it first dropped, ive honestly have a newfound appreciation of it over my disappointment. I think remind has a bit to do with it, but also the game itself does have a seriously endearing charm that I missed my first time playing due to it being shadowed by me being upset over lack of content. But now that remind is around the corner I truly can say I have a crazy NEED for it lol I’ve never wanted to replay KH3 again after my crit run but now I think I HAVE to play again to really enjoy everything the game and it’s dlc have to offer as a whole KH story.
Alex Gipson compared to the other games it had less content. “Omg photo mode is so much FuN! I love all the GrEaT mini games.” 🙄 ya no. KH3 was definitely lacking in ENJOYABLE extra content. I don’t think tons of mini games most players will play once and never again constitutes as “ a lot of content”
I actually would like to have also a complete retail version of KH3 + ReMind. I’m not a fan of digital releases.. At one point they should also release a retail version for those who want to buy it. But i doubt they’re gonna do that
I’m honestly both to be honest. I love both the combat and story in the kingdom hearts series. For different reasons. But in this case with the remind dlc I don’t mind how we’re not getting any new combat styles.
I'm like that as well. I'm super hard into the lore and can watch story related videos or theories for HOURS without ever touching the game. Then the next day I can play against bosses on critical and not care one bit about the story and just enjoy the gameplay. I love KH has both of those aspects because those are so major
ProdigyxCD oh yeah you’re right. I’m still confused with the method of how to actually unlock them. Do you have to do critical to unlock both keyblades?
DLC = add on. Final Mix = remade with some additional content. Also, ima need them to explain certain parts because the scene where lea, roxas & xio are battling together wouldnt make sense due to xemnas breaking lea’s keyblade.
@@GE0RGECREWS Okay but i think his keyblade wasnt really destroyed. It only dissipates which means he can still resummon it. Its not like it broke the same way as Riku's keyblade.
@@ProdigyxCD Honestly, I would have been fine with him taking the elevator. Or giving the armor a gummi phone so he can call from upstairs. I thought he could teleport.
Carlton Davis to me it showed that terra had a legitimate chance to come back. Seeing xemnas missed someone he’d never met. And it was conformation that ALL nobodies developed hearts eventually. It wasn’t just an aberration with namine roxas and xion. Yes they went too far building up the tension I agree. But the result for me was satisfying.
What makes it diffrent is not just that it doesn't makes you buy the game twice, or that it give more post-game content from updates, or that it's even an expansion. It's that this DLC is the ACTUAL GAME. I think most can agree that when it came to KH3's plot, it was seriously lacking. The fact that actual important game plot is part of this DLC is actually the main reason why it's it's diffrent from a Final Mix. Final Mix's may add a couple cutscenes that help tie the games together, but Re:Mind is ment to add more to the story, make it more climactic, add/elaborate detailes and fix plotholes just like how FFXV did with its updates and DLC. I'm glad the game got the backlash it did, if it weren't for that, we may not have gotten a DLC so story based. Although, I am a tad bit salty that we have to pay $30 for the game plot I'm really glad the game is finally (hopefully) getting it's true saga ending feel to it.
You know you can always just watch the additional cutscenes on RU-vid if you find it too greedy. I'm buying the DLC for the extra gameplay additions because I care solely for the gameplay.
@@ninadacobra2359 We didn't really know what they ment by that, it could have been all gameplay for all we know, they we're at their planning stage. The first interviews on what the DLC may contain happend months after the game's release.
You're perspective of the DLC is a bit different from mine. I was fine with the base game and KH3 probably has my favorite Story in any KH game. So for me this extra bits of story is just MORE on top of what i already, rather than me expecting it to fix tons of problems i have...

I got a bone to pick with the remind story stuff. IF the remind story contains crucial story information, which without playing, you will be completely lost regarding the plot, it SHOULD have been in the base game. I like kingdom hearts, but to place crucial story information in dlc’s, mobile games, etc is a bad practice. But kh does it so often that no one cares anymore
I don't really mind it, since i was already satisfied with the base games story. This ReMIND seems more crucial for the next arch rather than this one as well, I do however COMPLETELY AGREE with you about the mobile game. Though i think its fine for a single player game to expand its story through DLC, similar to how a fighting game is okay to expand its roster and gameplay with DLC.
except the "crucial information" in ReMIND is more for the next saga than the current one. As cool as it is , Guardians vs Seekers now is just a redo of that fight at the campaign , but with Sora taking his own presence away. It just outright confirmed that Aqua indeed had PTSD and just showcase LW vs Terranort , which we already know that , regardless how cool it is , Lingering Will is the looser of that battle. The really crucial stuff is Ventus' Dark Inferno (related to the X Saga) , Luxord x Luxu (also X Saga) , MoM talking to YX (also related to X Saga) and Yozora ( X Saga..again).
The_Raashad you’re one of the group of people who assumed incorrectly that they were developing kingdom hearts 3 off of kingdom hearts 2. While some aspects were retained or built on from the latter, three had a host of things working against it that were factual things that held the game back from being what everyone hyped it up to be. That will be be kingdom hearts 4 because stability will exist during its development. Technology, Nomura’s struggle in writing the plot as he openly admitted to, and having to develop the game entirely from scratch, all contributed. Disney restrictions contributed as well. Considering all that instability the game is pretty awesome. When kh3 skipped an entire generation that’s when I knew that whatever the base game was going to turn into was going to fall short of hype because things changed so drastically since kh2 that they would have to adjust to new technology, development styles etc. The biggest problem surrounding kh3 not being better than kh2 however is that he was working on Final Fantasy 7 remake and I believe FF15 too. I blame square for only having him as a competent game director. Spread a guy to thin or make him feel like he has to prioritize what he works on and anything that he puts off to side suffers. Hopefully future games have much more stability in development because kh3 just didn’t have that and the result is a great but far from the best game people that overhyped it were expecting. I thank god every day I’m not one of the people so stuck in nostalgia of kh2 that kh3 feels like a disappointment. I specifically didn’t play kh2 fm because I didn’t want my opinion of kh3 to be warped by a game that was developed with almost perfect circumstances and timing, that came out 13 years ago. The lesson with kh3 versus kh2 is that timing and circumstances matter A LOT, as much as people think my views are an excuse when really they are facts. Not everything tops itself. I still think base kh3 is the 3rd best game of the series. Behind Kh2 and BBS and will probably put it first after the dlc

I didnt bash the game, i didnt reference nostalgia, i didnt mention Numora, square, or disney. I dont care about the development cycle, i cared about getting a satisfying conclusion the the story/arc. i never said the game wasnt fun, i never said it didnt look beautiful. so you leaving me a dissertation on kH and the development made you feel better about me being disappointed? As someone who has been on the KH ship since day ONE, DONT TRY TO SWAY, MODERATE, OR BOMBARD ME WITH YOUR OPINION... The_Raashad true you didn’t but “disappointment” obviously doesn’t just come out of nowhere it’s naturally rooted in something. I only intended to state and compare facts that are quite often disregarded when it comes general disappointment surrounding kh3 and talk about why it didn’t ultimately live up to the hype,it was not my intention to bash you for expressing your opinion which you’re entirely entitled to do. @@joshz2491 i understand your promoting the facts but my friend...most of us making comments online...we already know about the shit show behind the scenes. i know about the osaka team made KH3 and how most of the original team was pulled to other projects (FF15 etc.) im saying this to you when you make comments like "I thank god every day I’m not one of the people so stuck in nostalgia of kh2 that kh3 feels like a disappointment." it comes off as condescending and rude. Why, because i've played all the games and ive noticed alot of things started to decline with every new entry, but as a fan i continued to support the series. Despite all the chaos behind the scenes the final product was not a good one and thus i didnt like the last chapter to this story. I understand Normua has a hard job but the shipped crashed and fans like me were collateral damage. Im ok with that, hopefully the next chapter is better.
