The LS is the best of Chevy evolution in small block tech done the right way. I will be exchanging my 6.0 in my Holden SSV Wagon for and LSA 6.2 topped with a Harrop 2650 SC with Hurricane headers and 3 inch dual system. Really looking forward to my first drive in a month or so. Keep the the Pontiac ,Chevy SS and GTO alive because Holden is no longer in Australia like Pontiac it's gone. Hi Pete From UK .ive got myself a VXR8 /Holden .but its a vauxhall re badge 2 holden . 6.2 with Air intake . makes about 430 Bhp. Love your G8 bonnet ..must order one . Great Vid
Thanks Mate that was good. I'm in Sydney Australia I have a 2010 Holden Commodore SS-V. Similar to the G8. They have been selling the Mustang GT since 2015 and now the Chevy Camaro SS 2 for one year it looks like a Camaro for me as I like that low down grunt off the lights. Noelzi 🇦🇺

Chop aspect is not mostly in the tune. The grind of the cam is what makes the “chop”. Ex: a 112 LSA will chop more than a 114 LSA, and a 110/111 LSA will chop more than both. You can tune for a “ghost cam” but it will not sound the same

at 12:57and 10:29 is that thump your shock bottoming out, because I just got mine lowered 1inch and occasionally ive noticed the same thing let me know sure would save a lot of time. should I expect that.
Ok I wasent awere of that...thx for letting me know ,I look at pics...and I don't see diference ,as far as I know only diference is the motors...I have a 09 gt...I did see a slightly diferent bumper on a 08 once,but over all..is just one body...I might be wrong tho
I have a 09 g8 gt with 503 to the wheel.. I also deleted 300 pounds of weight ,carbon fiber hood, whole a/c system delete, light weight bumper support sum forgstar wheels, etc and I beat my friends procharged g8 that has 630hp to the wheel....
Rcr custom grind cam, ported heads,ported intake, ported throttle body , 5" custom cold air intake, 2"headers with 3" full catless exhaust and a tune.... also have 3.27 rear gears instead of the stock 2.96s
Alex Day yes he and I are good buddies and talk about it often. I know some things are firsts for you such as the converter so it’s cool to see you make adjustments! I’m impressed with the drivability more than anything. But we wanna get a good track video of it this year!

I was with yinz until I realized that it's an automatic transmission car, and now I feel completely mislead. This was a waste of my time, thanks to the video title. Who the hell gives money for an automatic transmission G8?
Anyone who wants a G8? The only ones that weren't auto was the GXP lol they are good cars, the 6L80 in the GT is actually one of the better modern GM transmissions. And not sure how you were mislead, nothing in the title says it was a manual or anything even remotely close
@@tylerharrell3237 if it is not a manual transmission and the vehicle does not have a clutch pedal it is not worth driving, no matter how fast it is or how much horsepower or torque it has. I feel mislead because who the hell searches for a Holden with an automatic transmission? There is no point in that, as there is no point in doing a video with an automatic transmission.

@@chevy16001 that's bullshit, the automatic shifts faster but people don't understand what latency is, and total system latency in an automatic transmission is almost double than an experienced race driver shifting a manual. Randy Pobst proved it on the Willow race track with the Camaro ZL1 manual versus the 10-speed automatic ZL1. Automatics are still garbage even with 0.1 ms shifts. Utter garbage...
