That last statement of Brian's really made me cry a little...I've been dealing with how to explain to my family that I love magic and travel and NEED to be exploring the world....a lot of that comes from watching my Grandfather die with SO MANY regrets about not doing what he wanted to do in life. I needed a 'closer' to the conversation that I'm about to have with my family....thank you for perfectly stating what I'm feeling, Brian. Great interview.

Watching scam nation/school I learned from Brian that performing magic/trick is far more then just reveling a card or exucting a truck. There is a great deal of showmanship involved and engaging your audience by clever storytelling and careful word choices. Anyone can perform a trick with enough practice, but engaging and capavating your audience even if it's a single person, and watching g thier amazement or bewilderment and them wanting more it to me what magic is about. You are not just a magician, you're an artist. Thanks Brian for helping me come out of my shell and willing to meet new people by showing magic

As a future high school English teacher, his last sentence is going to be a quote on the wall of my classroom. That single sentence is incredibly motivating. It makes you evaluate your values, morals, and goals and see if your lifestyle lines up with them.

The first trick I learned from Brian was the double lift, I do that trick to this day and I hope I can teach future generations about it so they can keep the tradition going.

@@scamschool Yeah, sorry about that. I needed the wide lens to get both of us in the two-shot and it distorts a bit at the edges. Didn't think we should slide their furniture around so had to improvise a little.
