I gotta say that the rifles atm are in a good spot balance wise, each has upsides and downsides and the default starter(the akm) is the best all-rounder, as it should be.
Every weapon should be better at something then other weapons. That’s why we choose them… to be situational. The Fcar being best in most situations was not ideal, but it was fun.
I am main Famas now, and i found that it actually kill light better than any other ar. Because it can 2 burst and one bullet (without headshot) the light, and the initial 3 burst from full mag is basically zero recoil. Meaning you can easily aim have one burst hit light without making the light notice. AKM and FCAR when i shoot first bullet, the light notice and start dashing away.
I've been playing the FCAR lately after dropping it since season 1. AND I GOTTA SAY it feels pretty good! I'm actually quite enjoying it. I don't know if its "the best" but. Anywho W video man
Really liking the FAMAS over here! I find the burst is great since I tend to tap fire the other ARs anyways. Really good for team firing because the damage bursts can help start (or close out) a fight really well.
God the FCAR used to be LETHAL I loved that high recoil high damage gun small clip I thought it was well balanced. If you missed anything you wouldn't get the kill but now the just made them all so similar I switched to the AK because of the insane mag size. I really want a medium weapon that can do long range like crazy. Like if the famas was barely weaker but had no damage drop off or something. Or a semi auto rifle
I feel like a burst weapon like FAMAS actually has easier recoil control, because you can rely on every separate burst having sligtly different direction, so you just move your mouse in a short line with each burst
The hipfire on the famas needs to be taken into account. It is incredibly accurate when hipfiring, and is one of the main reasons i only really use the famas. It feels really good to ads at range and hipfire when they are even somewhat close to you.
I wish they would implement different reload times for tactical and full reload for the AKM and FCAR. Always rewarding to barely manage a tactical reload.
the situation where the famas shines is at close range hipfire against dash lights, because the hipfire on the famas is better than any weapon currently
Hard to believe, but I almost think medium's too balanced. Like there isn't enough of a reward to learning burst to pick up the famas, and the scar as a light counterpick doesn't move the needle enough unless im underestimating the importance of the holo sight. The balance is so tight, there isn't room to fenagle an edge, so why have more than one option?
Not a fan of burst weapons so I won't comment on Famas but right now I do believe akm is indisputably better than FCAR. In season 1 I was not a big fan for FCAR cuz of low ammo count and used akm as my primary choice(maybe I didn't have the best aim when I started playing the finals so the extra ammo on akm also felt like a huge backup/support). I tried out FCAR in season 2 when it was considered broken and fell in love with it. It rewarded good aim and punished as heavily if you missed your shots. That was it's core identity separating it from akm, high damage low ammo vs lower damage with higher ammo count. After it got the damage nerf and increased ammo count to 25 from 20 it just feels like a worse akm. I won't go over stats but by playing both I don't feel like it's rewarding me for my aim anymore, as I mentioned it just feels like a worse akm. The only reason to use it is if iron sights are unbearable for someone and they absolutely need FCARs sight. I feel it's a bit better in long range because of the sights but tbh not enough to justify using it above akm. I wish it would go back to 20 bullets and more damage but I doubt that'll happen so I guess I'm sticking to akm from now unless Embark actual does some balance around them.
Never liked Fcar tbh. Been using akm till the end of season 2, then swapped to famas. Suprisenly good gun after the buffs but it lacked that 1 point of damage, which was added in season 3. Now this gun is solid choise for all ranges
As a person with bad aim, I was hitting the body with an aim. fcar was a machine made for me... until I got nerf and became a AK with 25 bullets... If I can give the same injury with 36 bullets, why should I use still fcar??? embark to much drinking bro too much...
I do miss how the FCAR used to be balanced tbh, it doesn’t feel very distinct any more. I’d like it if they reduced its mag size back down to 20 but gave it better damage dropoff again, perhaps 1-2 more damage if needed
Well for me famas is the best cus i really love the burst on the famas and it feels solid as compared to akm i will probably take the famas but in some situations and things i will prefer the akm because of the mag capacity and the auto advantage
Need two weapons per class every season (one in the beginning and one in mid season). That's not overkill like CoD (the have like 6+, lol) and some other games but a healthy variety. 3 gadgets per season is okay. They still need to work on balancing those a lot moreso than weapons. This season's weapons in particular were mid to me since I'm not a melee player, I like to shoot things in a FPS edit: rifles and LMGs are pretty much perfect right now when it comes to balancing. You got Lewis with a faster ttk, still a big mag, but harder to control. m60 is weak but you basically have infinite ammo in a mag
God the Famas needs a Scope. Iron Sight just holds this weapon back. And tbh, the FCAR DMG should be at least 23 and MAG size back to 20. I get that the FCAR was OP, but 22 DMG is just too low
I don't know what is the best AR on medium, but MP-5 is definitely the best AR in the game. Don't even tell me it's SMG, it's basically AR with smg skin, especially considering damage retention over distance
How come the TTK differ according to body type? Aren't we dealing the same damage output with the same gun? So shouldn't the highest ttk weapon win every time
@@ggez8079 thats not how ttk works, i can give you a hypothetical that might help. If a weapon does 150 dmg per bullet but shoots at 1 bullet per second And anither gun does 100 dmg per bullet and shoots at 4 bullets per second. The first weapon will kill a light faster because it requires 1 shot, the 2nd will kill light slower but kill heavy faster because within that 1 second u got 4 shots off totalling 400. Fire rate and dmg per bullet matter. Even burst weapons we calculate the delay between burst
I really want to like the famas but for me I don’t really like it unfortunately… I feel like you get outgunned most of the time up close, and I feel like the range is bad which is weird. Ak is the best in season 3 for me.
A good Finals comparison with actual stat lists! I didn't know there was so much wierdness going on with their dry/half reload speeds until now. I think the ARs are in a great spot right now - they are different enough from eachother to be fun and do the 'all rounder' nature of ARs well, but they'll still get beaten by the more situational and less versatile weapons in certain situations. To me, that's exactly how game ARs should be.
Fcar is ez to one clip even when it only had 20 per mag, but i cant aim and kill quick enough on ak... I guess Im just blind😅 (and fcar recoil is actually not that bad, I still one clip max like 35~38m once u get used to the new pattern)
I’m my point of view and experience with these three weapon. Akm; best weapon against a lot of target, firer rate and good damage. Famas; best damage, precision and best to kill faster light player. Fcar; you are just a joke, best weapon for dumb player tried to proof the Fcar still viable, need to kill one target per magazine, the bullet pattern show it “accurate”, but you waste 5 bullets on 25 to shoot a player at 10m and that player take cover and came back to kill you easily. The only good side of this weapon is close range like 5m or less.
