Mercedes has chosen a very interesting detail for the 2024 season. The Brackley-based squad struggled at the first two rounds of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, confirming that the team STILL hasn’t got on top of one of the key challenges of these ground effect cars, hitting problems that are all too familiar. This has cast doubt over the teams ability to engineer a competitive car. But more importantly, are the teams 2024 plans collapsing already, as the Silver Arrows reportedely are scrapping and rescheduling the planned upgrades of the W15.
