Ajay sharma because it is a beginner's bike, so no need of abs in it, until 500cc every bike under it is a beginners bike so no need of abs in them, you should throw out the mentally that our youngsters can handle that beginners bike but all you what that compering them with others and don't let them do that others do because of your ill mentally

A few minutiae that you missed out on : 1. Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) is introduced. 2. Controller Area Network (CAN Bus) has been introduced. 3. New paint is UV resistant. 4. RVM has larger area now for better rear-viewability. Also, I am not sure if 12 mm extra cushioning/padding is on pillion seat or the rider's. Because most of the sites suggest its for pillion, but KTM MY 2017 has for riders {as per their website}.

hows the sound with the new exhaust, how does ride by wire help, how is the seat comfort level now for long ride, how loud is the fan noise, how well is the heat dissipation, how good are the new break pads and does the increased disc mm help in the stopping power. . . and is the slipper clutch in this better than ktm duke 390

I feel the side mounted exhaust is awesome and it completes the look of the bike.. also.. can switch to aftermarket ones easily now. Great stuff with RC 390.

One thing which I don't get is why KTM is not bringing the machines for which it is known for.... Dirt bikes. The KTM XCF - 250 is a great looking supermoto and I would love to own and ride one. We don't have much option when it comes to dirt bikes... The only dirt bike currently available is Hero impulse and Kawasaki ones are ridiculously expensive..!! please KTM ... we want to have some off road fun..!!

zeta tube I am not talking about motocross bikes but supermotos which can be used both on and off road. By the way don't mind but you are talking as if our roads were as smooth as silk..!! A lightweight agile powerfull Supermoto will be an ideal tool for cutting through city traffic.

Only a few guys will buy these kinds of bike first of all the price will be high and second of all there are lot of different bikes available now at much cheaper rate not the offroad one but naked and sports so its not a good strategy to introduce these kind of bike

I wish there was something for those who don't like the colour orange. Would love to pickup a D390 if it came with gunmetal grey wheels, a red chassis and white/black paint scheme. Aftermarket wraps are a way to go, still, how difficult could be to offer some choice? Look at Yamaha, they churn cool liveries out like Hot Wheels toys!

Still no ABS on the 200cc RC? I thought I had read somewhere, ABS had become mandatory in India for all bikes above 150cc. And damn, PD never ceases to amaze me with their way of presenting and the detailed reviews.

Now with the extra kerb weight n with extra seat padding on the Twenty17 RC390, can we expect the ride quality to be more forgiving this time.. without compromising much on its signature handling dynamics?.. The 1 NM extra torque though should take care of the extra bulk.. n the 390 should retain its pocket missile characteristics.
