Insanely beautiful channel. Wow! Your mom is beautiful. I think this is the best travel and food channel. Astonishing. Consistently and continually astonishing. Thank you!
Just put the cucumbers on. You are paying for them. They are good for you. They are just plain melons with a little zippy charge. Don't eat the green peel or some of the peel if you don't like, don't eat the seeds if you don't like. Just eat them. There are reasons that cucumbers are in so many dishes. They are great.
With every business and most things. There is an inside and there is an outside. Some people show their best outside... some people keep their best inside... Bob Marley.
@@monstermaggie21 It’s like allergies, one day some boy scared you while you were eating cucumbers while sitting on a velvet couch, next day you hate cucumbers and your skin gets pimples in places where you touch anything velvety. It can really be whatever. And you don’t know why, cause it’s in the subconscious
@@monstermaggie21, A lot of people think they taste gross and just don’t like them. From what Tina has said she thinks they’re gross. She’s got a great palette and to not like cucumbers out or all of the unique cuisines she eats isn’t that bad. I don’t like onions, never have, I pick them out of everything.
@@jennifer6833I'm like that with olives. I'll eat anything (including having tried octopus like this lol.) There are a bunch of things I will never choose to eat, but will if it's placed in front of me. But olives is the only thing I actively avoid
It's a video like this that I cannot believe we get access to content/information/entertainment like this for free on youtube. This was so interesting to watch. I loved the close shots, the detailed explanations, etc. Thank you so much for sharing.
Food has a magical way of turning a simple day into a memorable one. Every bite brings joy, warmth, and a sprinkle of happiness to our lives. A well-prepared dish is not just nourishment; it's a celebration of flavor, a comfort for the soul, and the perfect companion to life's moments.
this is so true this is why i love cooking for others, and have been loving doing my youtube series about different cuisines and exploring their dishes
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SOOOO MUCH. It makes me wanna visit korea soooo bad, not the glamorized side but def the country side! It’s so comforting and cozy!! 🥹🥹🥰
Videos like this always make me want to go to Korea too. But if you are like me, you will definitely want to learn even a little bit of Korean before attempting to visit and explore.
I can tell your really in your element in your Korean food focused videos 🙏🏽 Your energy is so natural and your so eloquent when taking about your culture! So awesome!
It's really touching to see you reconnected with your family and falling deeper in love with your heritage. Thanks for bringing us along on your journey
I always come away from your mini documentary’s feeling so much more educated about different cultures and yummy foods I’ve never heard of. You’re a phenomenal teacher Tina! 💖✨
this is so true i hope to one day go to other places and get to share it with my audience in my youtube channel but i've loved sharing my own journey on my youtube channel as i have had the opportunity to travel to 3 different countries for my bachelor
I absolutely agree it’s the Korean country side , the elders that stopped by to visit my grandparents that gives me my happiest and fondest childhood memories.
Thank you for showcasing the beauty and warm hospitality of the people in Mokpo and of course all the delicious food! Now I really want to visit someday
One of the things i love being married to my korean wife was her grandma’s place being right opposite the entrance of Jeonju Hanok heritage houses, where your dessert cafe was, and the river running across..so magical and beautiful
Dooby you are such an inspiration to me and I learnt how to appreciate Korean food culture more through you. Your food tutorial videos has helped me a lot especially when I was competing in a Hansik competition this year in my country, although I didn't win , I was able to get to the finals thanks to all your tips and little hidden gems in your videos about the cultural aspects of Korean food. My dream is to become a chef that specializes mainly in Royal and traditional Korean cuisine and I plan to pursue that dream in Korea God's willing. Thank you soo much for all the videos you put out here for us❤❤
A subscriber from California/US. Just love all your videos especially traveling to other countries. Love to watch your expressions of all different foods. Please do a video with the campers SiaCamping, JOA, GOrest and Chiwoo camping your all so amazing and would love to see for all your viewers will be cooking for dinner and breakfast for a camping trip. Please take your mom and dad as they are such a blessing and joy to watch. Thx for all you do, DR Ray California. PS please watch them on You Tube they from Korea.
I absolutely loved this video. I’ve been planning a trip to Asia with focus on smaller town / country side for natural beauty, culture and fresh food and Mokpo has been on my list. Would love to keep seeing more content like this with recs 😍
I followed you a while back and only watched short form content but I've been BINGING your videos and lowkey, I've been missing out, I love your videos so so much and love seeing you thrive. Korean culture and food make me feel so good by just watching and made me fall back in love with cooking and enjoying food in a healthy way. So thank you. All the love from Egypt
This the literally better and more beautiful cinematically and scientifically than anything on TV or the streaming channels. Very very professional, interesting, educational and entertaining. Wow! Astonishing.
I love watching dooby with mom, it is so cute & funny watching them enjoying the food & drink. What I'm amazed at is that at 70, being part Korean and watching these two skinny ladies scarfing all the interesting and tasty food, how do they stay so thin and in shape? I'm drinking my morning coffee and watching the meals and feeling stuffed and I'm not the one eating it. I know it's filmed over a period, but these days, I'm good with maybe one meal and that's about it. I can't handle constant eating, maybe when I was early teens and pre-30, but not anymore. If I went to Korea, it would be great looking, but I'd miss all the meals, as too much food & drink, and not enough calorie burning. Keep doing great videos. Mahalo.
i love cooking for others and for myself and would love to go to korea as well this is why i started my cooking series exploring different cuisines bc i love seeing what different cultures have to offer
Baekban is my favorite! The banchan look really good. They look not only delicious, but also very artisan preparation. Heart and soul of Korean cuisine. Next time in Korea, 청호식당 will be on my list!
Hey ! French subscriber here! If you're curious to know what's written on Yun Hi (hope I'm not butchering her name too much) T-shirt, it roughly translates to:"BEAMING - It's comforting to have such a nice weather/sunny day today - A radiant (synonym of beaming) future awaits you" Love the energy! Wish I could taste all the delicious food ♡
The blood sausage is a very popular street food in my country. Here, it's prepared with minced meat, most of the times this is intestines, and some few spices like chilli. We call it 'mutura'.
awww cute, i am soon moving abroad for my last yr of uni and im defo going to miss my family but i know i will love to continue to share my journey on my youtube channel
Love the deep dive !!! Healthy eating in the country side ! I love the Cafe ! Beautiful ! I love the charcoal fish & beer ! I love eating like a "Local " while traveling ! Thank you for sharing !
when i think about going to korea i think about this like i'd want to go to olive young and everything the first day and then go to a little fishers village
Thank you Dooby, you always give high dedication, present videos with extraordinary quality, explain in detail and make me really want to visit Korea, I really love this woman
I watched this with my grandma and I cannot believe how hard you got her laughing!! she would laugh like crazy every time the octopus would squiggle or food would miss your mouth. I turned this on to just watch as background noise but I’m so happy we got to sit down and laugh together. food looks good! small town foods are the best foods. 🫶🖤
Blood sausage.... We eat that in Scotland except it's called black pudding, no rice in it though. The herbs and spices will probs be very different but that's still really cool. Black pudding is sooooooooooooo yummy!
So many great dishes....Because of you mainly I became a big Fan of Korean food,culture,fashion,Landschaft,people...❤Almost more than Japanese- which I love for its food, architecture, art work and others... I just wish I would have had the opportunity to go there once in my lifetime...😢 For me it is phenomenal too...The fish you caught- looks like silver swords! Thank you for the great content, dear Tina Akademie Doobydobap
me too, i truly want to travel there soon that is why i made two video about exploring asian cuisine the japanese one and the korean one, defo two of my favourite videos to film
In spain we also have morcilla, with literally the same elements, the best one is the Morcilla from Burgos and it looks exactly like that blood sausage
Thank you for this video and all of your other videos, I was adopted when I was 6 months old from Korea and know little to nothing about my culture and where I come from, through your videos I’ve been able to learn and continue to do research and watch more dooby videos. Thank you.
Your mom is so cute ❤ You and Monsta X are the only people I can watch eating very non vegan things 😂 Everything looks so yummy and I love learning. If you ever did an idol series, I think you'd get along well with Monsta X and/or Wonho. They eat A LOT and Minhyuk hates cucumbers too 😂❤
Great Korean food journey!! Always love your way to express love in food. just want to comment a little on the color grading in this video, i find it really hard to watch since it the red color is too bright.
