i had gout symptoms from my hypertension medication. changed it, near instant improvement. i cant recall the medication but it has a well known side effect of causing the gout symptoms. for me, stopping soda helped. i drink canned cold tea when i need something besides bland water . i was unable to pin down my main trigger food. if you get unknown foot or knee pain, just call it gout and get your medications going. my gout responds well to food changes, and medication. and can be beaten early just dont wait till it is full on for help.
