What Really Cures Garlic Breath? | Gousto

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, couples will be keen to prevent garlic breath from putting their partner off a romantic smooch. We decided there was only one way to know what actually gets rid of garlic smell - we'd put it to the test. After a bit of research (and a surprisingly heated debate), we picked out 6 of the most popular cures we could find online and prepared our not-very-scientific experiment.
The experiment was this: First, we blindfolded a lovely guy called Lewis and made him play music on headphones, so he couldn't see or hear (see - highly scientific stuff!). Then, 6 other volunteers ate slices of raw garlic on toasted bread, before choosing a cure to try and then breathed onto our unfortunate "test subject".
