This was good. When I experience pain, I typically don’t want to move.

That can be a very common response but sometimes pain is our bodies way of communicating that it needs some sort of movement ❤️

The podcast was great, I really like the longer form discussion because it allows for little nuggets to be brought up that might not have made it in a video. And a lot times those are the best part because its hard to find an answer to a detailed question online. The two of you also seemed to vibe well which made it even more enjoyable. Please keep making videos but also please keep doing the podcasts, they're awesome 💪🏽💪🏽

Thank you both so much for chatting and sharing information with us. I have knee arthritis stage 4 in both knees and really have been trying alternative approaches to avoid knee replacement surgery. I love doing Alyssa's videos and feel stronger for it. My community swimming pool recently opened for classes after COVID and now that I retired at 73 from teaching I can go to the morning exercise class. I identified with your tip on having a buddy with similar issues. This swim group has really helped me not feel alone in this knee journey and I especially appreciate the group, since my teaching colleagues are very busy teaching and I am out of their loop now. We still see each other, but not daily. Swimming aerobics MWF has helped my knees greatly and then I do 1 of Alyssa's video. T, Th and often Sat.I am strong whole body and the muscles around my knees are especially so I feel less unstable. The sugar angle is REAL. When I don't have any sugar for a few days, pain in knees almost gone. If I splurge and have something I've baked for a few days, YIKES! it's back. That is one of those things you mentioned about finding out for yourself what works and doesn't.that does inflame me. Great work you two. I hope you do another podcast at some point.

I'm so grateful to have found your channel ❤ I was diagnosed a week and a half ago with mild to severe arthritis in 5 areas from my lumbar to my knee and it is really hard to find the answers/support that I need. I already feel a sense of calm so thank you!✨️💝
