conte in serie a is a beast. started juventus farmers league dominance in his first season with an invincible season, and was the one who ended that farmers streak with inter. but outside the serie a except from that chelsea first season, conte has been mediocre for tottenham, the national team and especially his champions league record is so bad. i think he is definitely a serie a specialist manager
Everyone convinently forgets contes first juventus season especially at the beginning when conte played a 433 football that was better than peps teams.

Napoli went from title winners to very poor title defenders to once again being beastly good. And in that time frame, my club Ajax… has gone from cr@p, to mostly cr@p…
Haha, as a spurs fan we really wanted McTominay. Unfortunately our roster is in a weird spot at the moment where we need to sign a bunch of kiddos to get homegrown at club players to eventually have the full Europe squad. Just couldn’t fit him in lol
@Sebpz8342 I wouldn't be at all bothered if we don't win this season. Conte is a beast without European commitments, and it's Motta's first season, so it would be rather harsh to expect him to win this season.
The fact United continued to use him in a deeler role when every aspect of his game pointed to Box to Box still blows my mind. The man is a beast in the attack. He is not a CDM
@@Crispy_DAWG we did used him as a number 10 on a few occasions and he wasn't particularly any impressive he started in a 0-0 draw at anfield and other than 1 impressive through ball to garnacho he didn't do much for us that game he was also a part of 4-0 thrashing by crystal palace where he started as a number 10 because bruno was suspended and these are just 2 games, he was playing as a number 10 in a few more games and again he wasn't particularly impressive his best games for united came last season when he would make late runs inside the box but leaving huge space in the midfield if we lose possession or when he was brought in as a sub for a target man during set pieces see his goals against brentford or chelsea or galatasray out of the 5, 4 were tap ins one was a header i love scott but he was very limited, tho i did wanted to see him as a backup striker lol
@@randomhooman3236 That just it though. Your team never allows players to shine on top of form issues that are just plain unlucky. I’m not saying he’s a world class player that needs support, but he’s a fighter that excels at making forward runs. If you want that type of player, reinforce with a DM who isn’t injury prone. United splurge on overpriced players who don’t command the fee they pay.
@@Crispy_DAWG selling him was necessary anyways because of our ffp situation He generated 30m in pure profits and we were able to sign ugarte only because of that
Man UTD should have signed Conte instead they went for that bald clown like how many games has it took Conte to implement his style?? Ten Hag is in year 3 and still we see nada. It's a pity though cause Conte ball + Osimhen would have been perfect he's literally a way more polished Lukaku.
Will have a tough challenge tho Inter will be on his tail every game week Even tho they lost the derby, it's still onky a 3 points, and now there's only a single point between him and inter Inzaghi will not let go of him for the rest of the season
De Laurentis is the master of the Tying contract (contratti capestri) so that's how, he did it for his players, coaches at Napoli for years and actors and directors when working in the movie industry.
Dude I despise "99%" (exageration) of football $h!7 heads on youtube, specially those english speaking talking about foreign leagues. You and the guys from the Italian football podcast are among the exceptions to the "$h!74brains" rule. keep going!
they’ll be good for about 3/4 of the season, qualify for ucl and then fall off massively next season, flop in the ucl maybe not even finishing top 24 and then he’ll quit/be sacked mid way through the season. from a spurs fan.
They may very well win the title. But once that second match in a week comes next year, Conte will do what he always does. Blame players, management and everyone else but himself
@@micheledurittoNo it was not. Milan did worst but it was not convenient and in Italy people said this bs in TV. Tabarez's milan ended 11th place after the 95/96 scudetto.
@@giuseppe1926 Nope, good try tho, in terms of points, Napoli had a 37 points difference between the year they won the scudetto and last season, Milan had a 30 points difference compared to 95/96 to what they had in 96/97 instead. Also, the Milan you are talking abuut had 22 points less than the scudetto winning team of that year (Juve) while Napoli last season had 41 point less than the scudetto winning team, Inter.
