Phillip Scott reports on the anti-Black American sentiment that is rising with some from African & Caribbean nations. Black Americans haven't stolen a resource nor destabilized a single country. Why loathe us?
Uncle Phil I tried giving you a thumbs up and it said something is wrong please try again. It's youtube because it's not working on any of my black channels.

We feel nothing against you. You are the ones who feel threatened by africans. You are the ones showing us hate and greed (you have your yvette carnell and others) and some africans are reacting accordingly.
Africa’s exploitation built the United States and your black communities. You equally BENEFITED from Africa’s EXPLOITATION, and you owe African REPARATIONS.
They are putting all that hatred and energy towards the wrong people, which is us. Every group on this planet hate us just for existing when we never even asked to be here and never asked to go through what we went through and are still going through. It makes no sense whatsoever.

No, you are wrong. Africans are for the most very accepting to other black people. You have your own Yvette Carnell and others against africans et we hear them too. Africans’ reactions come from the disrespect and insults from AA who insult us all the time. No we don’t envy you!

@njemilenantan2269 Historically, No. But just because now the FBA community is checking everybody. You can't say it's the same. And at the end of the day. It's still all love, but we're gonna come to an understanding within this so-called diaspora.

This is fundamentally wrong even the most powerful nation on earth needs allies. That mindset of I’m alone, I can make it my own is WRONG, why Asians come and succeed, how come Latinos are progressing that fast, how whites immigrants are succeeding “adidas, Volkswagen etc”. Community is the secret that’s all…
We need to STOP including everyone into our community. Everyone isn’t here to help but to take and benefit from the work of FBA’s. SMH stop including them.
I’m African live in States I strongly agree the struggle and fought they put Black Americans in United States way back, somehow encouraged African countries to fought for their independence, blacks people one love.
In one of the videos, I was surprised to find out that some tribes viewed other tribes in their own country as enemies instead of the colonizers!! The colonizers drew the continent country maps with different tribes, cultures, and languages. So, if an immigrant sees me, then they see an outsider. As Bro Phil says not all… We embrace first and the melanated reject and hate next.
Their oppressors are enslaving and genoc1ding them right now in Congo, stealing all of their cobalt but they will never hate them. They rather hate black people on the other side of the world who never did anything to them.
The Black American community operates in our own space. However, it's crucial to understand that once you draw our attention, it's not a situation you want to find yourself in. Take heed and act accordingly.
Exactly. Once you get the full attention of Black Americans in a negative way, you're screwed. Once you've upset us and we start defending ourselves, you can't tell us when to stop
I’m not being the bigger person that’s a weak mindset. I destroy my enemies even if they’re the same skin color and these Africans and carribeans are problematic. Treat them the same as a pale face or Hispanic
They are envious. We fight where they lay. We could never hold them back. We are on the front lines swinging as they stand on the sidelines tap dancing for buttered biscuits that they could have made themselves! Notice how we are the topic of discussion even as we mind our own business. Meanwhile they watch ALL that we do. Too busy watching when they should be active.
I have heard some FBA young folks say some of the dumbest things but i cant say the whole of black America thinks this way . My problem with this kind of programs is it always paints a stupid notion of us vs them . Anyone who has been to Africa or literally anywhere in diaspora will know that AA's arent hated or envied . I genuinely get shocked by some of the ignorance spilled by all sides of the divide and i know white people lick their lips at this .
I posted this above but: We're holding them back? But, there are no image of Black Americans as cannibalistic, naked, disk lipped, primitive, savages, with bones in noses, living in mud & straw huts, dining on albinos for magical powers, or as starving, emaciated, beggars swarmed in flies. Nor are there images if FBA as unbathed, childlike, backward, warmongering, barbarians chopping each other to bits every 3 years over some tribalistic buffoonery in the world's imagination. I'd say you've done a great job holding yourself back. Leave black Americans out of your self inflicted debasement. the British didn't use images of black Americans when discriminating again the Windrush generations, no, they were exploring our culture while treating you like dogs. Stop the cap. I'm all for Black unity, but Black American/FBA Freedman is my culture/tribe & we'd better check these idiots at every turn. We didn't start the diaspora war, but WE will end it. Black AMERICAN Power. Despite a wealth of knowledge, I'll never defend Africa nor the Caribbean again, until they make efforts to stand in unity with themselves & us. All of the Real Pan Africans are my family, but no more blanket love. smh
All this hatred between the Diaspora and Black Americans is revolting. I admit, I have received so much negativity, false judgement, condemnation and standoffish attitude from many Africans (men and women) during my undergrad and graduate programs. Even in the workplace. When I attended a non-denominational church back in Atlanta during the early 2000s, the relationship between Black Americans and Africans in the church, all who claimed to be Christians, was an absolute abomination. All the fighting and I clearly remember the White senior Pastor telling both sides to cut it out. It was embarrassing. In grad studies, I remember a Kenyan guy saying Black Americans will never be African and that our ancestry is not the same. I was born in the deep south and as a little girl, I was raised in a household that revered Africa. Although my parents had never visited Africa, they raised us kids to never be ashamed of Africa and to have pride in our African ancestry. Now as a adult who has traveled globally and have experienced so much animosity, confusion and dislike from Africans of several countries, my heart has changed. I turned away from that pan-African movement a long, long time ago but I do not wish Africans any harm. I have nothing derogatory that I will say about them. However, I strongly believe now is the time for Black Americans to unite like never before. Blacks need to stop trying to mingle and befriend those who do not respect nor value us. Black Americans should focus on repairing our own families and community. We do not have time to focus on what others are saying, thinking and doing. Only the Black family can rebuild a stronger and better Black America!
Exactly - as a child of a Caribbean mother whose family had nothing but HORRIBLE things to say about African Americans then working with African refugees …. They do not respect us is the only thing that I can ascertain and it is not worth our energy at this point - wish them the best but focus on our growth
They can't handle the fact that they will forever be in our shadow. The mark we have left on this planet could never be duplicated. Never be topped. Ever. They are bothered.

I lived in Miami, Florida nearly 30 years ago. The Black Foreigners were above Black Americans and expressed a lot of hatred against us. They were not trying to work with us. It is the same in parts of NY and the DMV area.
I grew up during the black consciousness movement in the mid 60's to the middle 70's and African culture and clothes , hairstyles and return to Africa was the rage. We yearned to connect with our family in the continent. We embraced them and treated them like royalty. As the years have passed, I would wonder, why isn't there anything being accomplished? Why is all the unification efforts one-sided? I meet Africans and got so excited and would hug them while they would have a particular quizzical look in their faces and then I caught on... One Nigerian I met, I asked him where in Nigeria is he from? He rudely interrupted, " I DONT GET INTO THAT STUFF!" then he detoured into a crowd of whites.. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP!

It's just like the Biblical story of Joseph. His brothers sold him into slavery. They sold him unto death. They never expected to see him again. when they saw him again, they saw greatness that they had to bow down to. That's the same story of the Africans and the Black Americans. They see greatness and the accomplishments that we have achieved, that many of them have not achieved. It's jealousy, envy, hatred, murder.
@mr. The same for me. I even lived in Nigeria for 6 months, Kenya, for some time and even South Africa and Ghana! Was always welcomed and celebrated! Social media is really creating a divide and I think them folks warn them not to hang around us by demonizing us thru media and imagery.
Our Brethren from the Motherland weren't talking like this. And Many still don't. This is divide and smother. Only ignorant misguided children talk like them. Before our time we can't forget the Heroes of the Continent: - Kwame Nkrumah - Patrice Lumumba - Nelson Mandela (young) - Idi Amin - Winnie Mandela They All drew inspiration from Malcolm X. They saw and heard a Black Man in the U.S. on the front page, on the radio, and on black and white TV, destroying the myth of white intelligence. Back then Black people world wide knew what the struggle was.
So it took us who were under the Caucasians literally ( Africa owns their lands unlike us here in America ) for you all to raise up people and still to this day nothing has come from that realization. Actions speak louder than words.
We NEED each other. Black America won round one for us with blood, sweat, and tears...ALONE I will add and we gladly shared that victory with the world, while Africa sat on the sidelines watched and waited for the outcome. Now as we PRIDEFULLY attempt to further connect with Africa, we're met with this type of vitriol.
I don't think Africans really have an understanding on politics based on the content...ppl make opinions based on the narrative media dictates which isn't owned by neither FBA or African ppl...these conversations are extremely needed...I used to see us as all black but now I see it for what it's worth ...❤✊🏿...

I understand why it's necessary to call out the haters, but I also have to shine light on the love. SOUTH AFRICANS AND AMERICANS HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP! We were taught about the Civil Rights Movement in school. We were never taught to call Americans any names, or to hate them. Except for Tyla situation, we have never had an issue, and it wasn't even started by an American. Americans have been visiting and moving to South Africa since the 80's. My parents went to a Millie Jackson's and Natalie Cole's concerts in the '80, in South Africa. PLEASE WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY "BLACKS WITHOUT BORDERS", produced in 2013. Nope South Africa loves Caucasians way way too much to be trusted and they are very ignorant, they believe Tyla is African when she is in fact Indian from India.
