Underpaying Contractors to do all the hard labor! This is madness and an abuse of the system. People are still paying premium express but their packages are now going to an underpaid contractor to be delivered by underpaid delivery drivers!

Underpaying contracted delivery personnel while at the same time expecting them to take up all the slack when they are being negative impaceted most by all of his business rule changes favoring only the rich? Who is most responsible for having made all of those rule changes which are impacting both contractors and customers being delivered to is hard to tell.

Idk why he has it out for express, did he forget that express is what made it a respectable company. I also don’t understand why smiths son doesn’t fight at all for his dad’s legacy.

I agree, it was the Express Division that enabled FedEx Corp to purchase RPS and turn it into FedEx Ground and the Express Division has been neglected for years on new updated equipment including vehicles. As far as the PSP goes it's now PPP aka profit, profit, profit. The people and service has been forgotten. I've been with Express for 24 years and I'm retiring next year and my station is one of the test stations for FORGE the new operational app that is Grounds app that they are trying to make work for the Express Division. They've had to add so much for the Express Division because we do a lot more processing of a packages at a pickup then Ground has ever done, and it takes us longer to process that package at pickup then it has ever before using FORGE.

I truly dislike how contractors are being treated. These small businesses have no choice but to sign their contracts or many will lose everything. I hope one day the tide turns and these people get exactly what they deserve.

So, in this consolidation, workers are getting laid off right and left. That's why it doesn't pay to be loyal to a company. Trying to do more work with less! Looks like it's time to start talking with the Teamsters.

FedEx will be only contractors in a very short time. FedEx has never had a reasonable return for investors. They are dying.

I'm a contractor for Fedex Custom Critical, and I'm not sure exactly how they will eliminate the steps of a Fedex Ground delivery to a particular home, and then a Fedex Express truck delivering to the same house the same day. They would have to have another sort of all of those packages to place these two shipments on one delivery truck. They would have to include the same address with a unique code on the label, telling their sort system this is the same address, and also include non by 1030 am info on this same package label, my guess.
