My batter was a wee bit thin, so if you try the ginger ale waffles, start with 1 cup of ginger ale and see if you need more after letting the batter rest for about 10 minutes. It may just be my waffle maker, because they used to come out more fluffy than they did, but they are still really tasty. The ginger ale gives them a nice fluffy texture and a good flavor! Wow I love your fancy pretty salad! It's a feast! The bread looked delicious! Can't beat fresh bread! I would probably cook the egg dish in the oven so it browned nicely and didn't go rubbery. I think steaming does that to quiche type dishes.It's leftover Indian Chicken tikka masala curry for us tonight! Happy day from Sally and the fur crew! 😊❤

I do love trying new recipes, even in the Instant Pot, though I'm still not over the moon about the pressure cooker, as compared to my air fryer. I may try that egg bake in the air fryer, which is essentially a small contained oven. I also expected it to have a rubbery texture, but it really didn't. Like you, we like nice crispy bits and brown tops, so I think the air fryer (or oven) would work great. I know you and Les enjoyed your Indian leftovers!! Happy Sunday Tim and Stacy! I remembered to watch your video while I am chopping sweet potatoes and salad stuff. Yay! Last week I spaced out and watched nothing wondering what was different. You keep me company while I cook on Sundays. 😊 So sorry your bread machine conked out on you. It still looked delicious to me baked in the oven. The soup looked yummy too but I cant get away with not putting protein in my soups. 😔 I so enjoy having my soup in a mug too. It feels so special ya know! 😁 Dukes mayonaise is my favorite mayo hands down. "Woohoo salad!" Tim cracks me up. 😂🤣 Breakfast for dinner. I have not done that in a long time. That egg bake looked good. I still use my oven a lot. During summer I use my crockpot still so the oven does not heat up the house. I have a Ninja Foodie that I like to use. I dont have an air fryer but my Foodie has an air crisper which is similar. Hope you both had a wonderful and blessed week. I hope and pray this week is better than the last couple of weeks. It has been challenging. I am just trying to keep my eyes focused on Jesus and not the things that are distracting me in this world. I feel the world trying to suck me into it and I have been battling it spiritually in prayer which has made the enemy mess with me more. His joy is my strength. RIP Breadmaker. Lol. But at least it died at a good spot in the cycle. It wasn't half cooked or something. And the bread turned out wonderful. 😊 When I was married, and i wanted to try a new recipe that I didn't know exactly how long it took or if it would turn out, I always made appetizers to snack on. My husband was impatient like Tim. So, I would distract him, and if the recipe was a flop, at least he wasn't boiling with hunger. Eggs or a sandwich for dinner. 😅

As you already know, I made the egg bake too and we liked it! I don't have that cute fluted pan but just a plain small cake pan that fits in my IP. No it's not instant at all, but it lets me do other things while something cooks in the IP and that frees me up! Look at that fun butter dish, it has the measurements on it for you?! Where did you get that?! The bread looks great despite your machine quitting. The end piece is the best! My bread machine did something like that a few months back, I was able to poke around online and find a way to get it going again. That bread looked good in all your meals! And what a pretty and fancy salad, way to go! Yummy week of food! P.S......me thinks you may need another pastry mat! I got a new one for Christmas that Trent/kids got me, hope to try it out soon)
If you use regular stick butter, the measurements are already on the wrapper.. at least on most of them. We use Blue Bonnett though and it's on there. I am a HUGE mayo fan and use it for lots of things, and it is good, but just not noticeably different from other brands. It costs more though, so we will likely not keep buying it. I’ve never heard of ginger ale in waffles and I’m absolutely going to try that this week! Man, nothing worse than a machine stopping mid-cycle My instant pot did that last week. It didn’t come fully to pressure. So I wasn’t sure how long I should start it for again without my pasta basically disintegrating 😭 Thank you for sharing another wonderful video!

My batter was a little thinner than I wanted, and you can always add more if you need the extra 1/2 cup. The ginger ale gives them a nice fluffiness!! You can do an omelet in a sandwich bag too! Those are usually fun and easy to do with kids because they can do their own (with supervision of course!).

My bread machine makes those beeps in the middle of a cycle to tell me when to add things. It doesn't let you press any other buttons. It is usually during a rising time. It starts doing its thing again in a bit. Putting in extra ingredients, kneeding etc. 🤷♀️

Like you, this bread machine does have a beep in the early part of the cycle, where you are to add things like nuts or craisins. I actually remember that it had already beeped and gotten past that point in the cycle. I honestly don't think I've ever used that feature though, I rarely add extras to the bread I have made in the bread machine before. Usually mine is a pretty straightforward loaf of bread, LOL!! If yours is a 3 quart or an 8 quart, you will need to choose a different size. Your bread sounds delicious and looked it. I have a bread lady that bakes homemade breads and other goodies out of her Health Dept Approved Kitchen. Every week she has a variety of breads, scones, muffins, cookies and cakes and pies. I do not order every week but about once a month something strikes my fancy. I love her jalapeno cheddar scones to eat with soup, her breakfast bread for French toast, her regular breads for sandwiches. This week I ordered the Chocolate Cherry Bread which is my favorite breakfast bread, I also ordered bread bowls this week. I think I will make Potato Soup to go In them. I think they are better with thicker soups. She had snicker doodle cookies so I ordered 6 for Mark as a surprise treat. They are not one of my favorite cookies. I dnk why since I like cinnamon but with 2 kinds of bread I do not need cookies anyway. I will make French toast with it then freeze the rest for next time. We do not fix French toast very often. Maybe once every couple of months. Your salads always look so delicious. Mark is boring. He wants iceberg lettuce, carrots, cheese, dressing, croutons if I have them and or sunflower seeds. That's what he calls salad. I like cucumber, red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, other greens, green onions, many more vegetables than he likes. So we do not eat as many salads as we should. I hope that you are doing well. I am sorry about your bread machine. I had one about 25 years ago but it broke a long time ago and I never replaced it. They are so expensive now and I dnk which features are good to have so I have not gotten a new one but have considered it.

Maybe one day! I pushed myself over 20 years ago now to learn to make bread. Using yeast had always scared me, and bread machines make that process a WHOLE lot easier! I do have a recipe or two for homemade bread that do not use a bread machine, so I may that one in a month or two and see if I can still make bread "from scratch", and without a machine. We cook primarily on our stovetop, and also use the crockpot, oven, air fryer (which is a small contained oven, so anything that is done in our air fryer is easily done in the oven) as well as our outdoor grill. We like a lot of food, and I love to bake as well, so we do offer a lot of variety. I'm sorry that this one particular video did not meet your expectations, and hope you find a channel that does.
