I almost did this at the store. I picked up some notebooks, foolishly and negligently disregarding the size of their rule. On my way to the front counter I casually looked down at the stack of books between my arm and torso, to read the hideous words "wide ruled." I was shocked! devastated! But shortly after that wave of fear was replaced by a beautiful calming sensation of relief, even joy, for I had narrowly avoided a potentially life-damaging mistake. I went home happy that day with college ruled notebooks in hand, and celebrated with a nice 54 degrees fahrenheit glass of white wine. I deserved it.

omfg agreed i used to be an anticipated astrophysics major and lined notebooks always killed me bc of all the diagrams and equations

and if you're one of those weirdos (cough me), who decides upon chemical engineering, don't waste your time buying the fancy organic chemistry notebooks or stencils. you'll forget about it in a week, and learning to draw the molecules by hand will be much better in the long run as you able to keep pace with your professor.
