Spotted Mercury 2 nights last week.My tip is use wide field binoculars,mine are 2x40 Helios ones, and locate Jupiter and then head down and you'll come to Mercury just above the horizon at dusk.I don't know about a bad run of weather for the first part of 2024,the rain began in July 2023 and hardly a single day without rain until February.Febuary and March have had significant gaps in the rain.... awful stuff!
Please remember how Moore did it; it wasn’t like this. ;too niche whereas Patrick managed to make us all like it! Sorry guys, but it’s true. Stop with all the giggling!!
