Switch to simple in enhanced audio, you will hear all targets as the same loudness. It takes a while but you will like it. Even deep signals sound loud and clear
Someone commented already regarding Underwater Boost feature. Hit "Settings" button, scroll all the way to the top of the list, Settings. Half way down is "Underwater boost" Hit right arrow then check mark. Works only with wired headphones.
First time commenting. I do not have the Manticore but have seen in another video that there is a underwater boost in the settings down towards the bottom that may help you with the low audio, hope this helps 😁
never seen that before,i dont seem to have your problem with the core iam uesing enhansed normal,what i dont like is every deep target reports more iron tone than good tone but they turn out to be good targets it reports better with iron turned on,volume down,are you on seawater and surf,its the only program that works on my beaches,cheers,
Try out prospecting theme. It was designed to make those deep targets sound way better. You can change the pitch of it as well to whatever your brain likes. Screw the 5 tone garbage it is slow to respond and weak as hell. Make sure you have the headphone boost on as well! Don’t know why they created a machine that was so frickn quiet with corded headphones. Other than they designed it for the dirt diggers not the water and beach guys!
Didn’t realize the boost mode. .. still learning the differences in the sounds on gold .. been using beach low enhanced mostly for fresh dropping. Still struggling a bit on the low and mids in cuts mixed with iron and hi tones.
All I use is beach low with the prospecting theme. I don’t like all the tones because when I water hunt all I want to know is where is the target. Don’t care how deep it is because I will pull out the devil himself if I have to. I think I have a few chinamen in the back of the truck still! You can turn up the iron and you will hear it with the prospecting theme. All multi freq machines will give a false tone on rusted and large iron. Can’t get around it. Rust is a chemical process that screws with the machines. I know it’s hard to change from all the high mid and low tones because everyone is use to it with the Nox. But all the hard core water hunters I know use the prospecting them because it is has a fast response and is designed to make the little gold sound amazing. And you know 90% of detecting is finding the target! Don’t pass up anything with a low number! Naked small chains will come up a 1 ! And there is allot of small gold rings that come up a 5-6. I basically dig all the targets in the water because there are just not that many signals around here. Unless it is a total iron target. But I will dig a few of them to see how heavy they are. And bottle caps like modello and corona will get you all the time without seeing the 2D screen. But with prospecting it will sound really bad! But I have had 10k rings that sound like crapola. So there is no really good answer other than dig it all! Lol happy hunting!
