Has an officer ever got in their backseat and then the door shut on them? What would you do from there? Call your supervisor or another officer and deal with the laughter and always hear someone bring that story up or try to crawl through the cage window and act like that never happened?

It's always a great thing to actually have a boss that knows and cares what it's like on the road, instead of those bosses that act like they are a Librarian or some shit. My department was famous for recycling old lights and switches and sirens. That seems to be the case almost everywhere. Thank you and BE SAFE!!

Getting a V8 isn't meant for speed, its meant for acceleration. While you can go faster, the main reason people get a v8 is for the torque.

Just wanted to let you know something I learned at my department that Bluetooths can be easily hacked and intercept data through simple apps on a phone such as Bluetooth Warden and Wifi Warden. I waited 40 years for Mopar to build a RWD vehicle I could love. Still have my 66 383 Belvedere convertible, 40 years now....drove a few 60s and 70s Darts (one 340), until 2 years ago then finally a car I can love and afford, a 2013 ex-Michigan State Police bright blue Charger. Hard suspension! Perfect balance between torque and hp due to variable valve timing. 27 mpg highway. A real shift lever but manual shift override. Enormous brakes. Spare 38 cal. bullet in spare tire well. Real steel black wheels! All gear was removed and holes crudely plugged. Push bar sawed off. I had to put a console in. It is hilarious to drive it in Michigan. Everyone knows that only one kind of car is that color blue, and they just kind of tense up, slow down or drive better when they aren't sure. I did hate the throttle response and put in an Interceptor package...2 modules, one of which made initial throttle response act like a real physical cable. Like the '66, this one's a keeper. I have a serious problem with calling a 4 door car a Charger. Chargers have only 2 doors, like GTXs, Super-Bees,.... So I was about to rebadge mine as a Coronet, bought the insignia, was gonna do it, but my buddy, now deceased, worked at a Fiat-Chrysler assembly plant and got me factory stick-on letters. The trunk lid now says TARDIS GTX.

Officer401, lol one thing I love about you is you don't have that I know everything about everything. So speaking of a charger. My wife was in a head on crash due to and elderly woman swerving into on coming traffic. The FHP "Florida highway patrol" had to drop off some stuff to my house after the crash. I live on the corner of bumfucked Egypt, Listen for the banjos. Dirt sugar sand roads. So the whole thing went smooth until I told not to turn left out of my drive way. "Well why would I do that lol" he scoffed. I said because you will have a long night and so will the two wreckers they will have you send to get you out because your GPS is gonna tell you go that way. He replied "pshhh my car won't get stuck" and laughed and took off on his way. Well I'm on my front porch enjoying my fire pit and 20 minutes go by and this fhp got lost and followed his GPS right where I told him to go. Now Idk if you ever heard the sound of chargers tail pipe 6 inches under sand but it has a nice ring to it. He was there for 7 hrs. All he had to do was not be a twat and I would have easily give him the two turn direction out.. so thank you for not being like that.

hey, just an fyi if youre ever bored off duty, and want to make that lightbar look new (and be brighter by a tad) you can take the lenses off and use a headlight restore kit on it to make the lenses clear again. another thing. they sell led conversion kits for the takedowns alleys, will be brighter and have more of a pop.usually can pick them up used online theyre called LR11 modules from whelen. last thing. not sure if youre familiar with 12v electronics (if you did your own subwoofers and amp same stuff) but you could find a siren/light control combo that would be much easier to operate and give you more scaleability for lights and the fun slide switch.

Im a Master at Arms stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and we at first had Dodge Dakotas, then went to Jeep Liberties, to 2015 Chevy Silverado, and not we are at 2017 Ford F150s... Yea I know a lot right... But the f150s are by far my favorite.. By the way love your videos.. all the way from GTMO.

I was in one of the new police chargers that has a v8 and I was shocked. I don't think it had the big boy 392 but if it was the 5.7 it had some power to it. I've raced the basic hemi charger quite a few times ever since they made it and I never lost to one. I even had a 2014 v6 mustang and walked one with that. He caught me in the pits after and was very unhappy when he realized it wasn't a gt. I had a pretty good convo with the cop about it. He was cool. A fellow car guy. But I was pretty drunk so I can't remember what he told me about the engine. I wasn't arrested btw lol. He was giving me a ride home. Pretty good to be in the back seat without cuffs lol.

Definitely beats my 2008 crown vic rocking all that old equipment =/

Don't underestimate a V6, there are so many things that created power in an engine. Displacement, compression, fuel trim, it's all a factor. A V8 does have more displacement though, that's about it.
