In my area, you're patrol and traffic all in one. If you're not active on a call, you can be doing traffic enforcement. My county doesn't have a SWAT team, but they've been trying to work out a Task Force team in case of a mass shooter. Where one law enforcement team would go in after the shooter. Then only appointed EMS would be allowed to go in with a different law enforcement group and render aid to injured people and get them out
I just applied to become a cop, and I feel unsure , but deep down in my soul is something I have to do , I need to help those that can’t help themselves , I know the ugly truth , but that’s life , I just want to be able to protect my family and those that can’t be protected, life is a ugly but as a cop you can sometimes make it a little prettier.

It’s easy to see why he’s stopped posting: 1. He has looked increasingly anxious in his videos - not a sign of great mental health. 2. He mentioned being under investigation for “hacking” into the police system without prior authorisation, albeit as he claims with good intentions. 3. The political climate in America generally does not favour the police - not surprised if he has become disillusioned as a police officer and decided to stop posting or even leave the force. His public criticism of the force / “administration” doesn’t help. 4. There is only so much content a channel can do about police work. In many depts it would be considered unprofessional to make use of your law enforcement identity to build personal fame / wealth for yourself through RU-vid, which makes this channel risky for any police officer to have. It was always about having to fly under the radar. Sure you can post about your personal life, but if you make use of your police identity to gain clout, the potential for the spirit of public service to be corrupted is there. Hence officer401 would have run out of content if he can’t post much about police work (which is already limited in itself). This channel was never meant to become something big (would have probably flown under the radar if it was a small insignificant personal-vlog type of channel but then what’s the point). Hope he charts a new path for himself beyond RU-vid :) just slightly annoyed though that he decided to abandon the channel without properly accounting to his long-time subscribers but it is what it is :) he might be trying to keep a door open for himself to return sometime in an uncertain future but I don’t see how this channel can develop more using police work (unless he collaborates with his dept and releases content which toe the line but then again what’s the point).
I have a question if someone is in trouble that has the cool one and cold too on the phone alert and they keep calling the person's name out is that a sickness that they're going to the police
Bless you. The work you do is incredibly difficult, and it takes strength to talk about this. You (anyone reading this) are not weak for needing help; that's like being weak for needing heart surgery or a splint for a broken bone.
Fine haul ass but use your damn lights. If your concerned with someone getting there ass kicked then use your damn sirens yeah people Will scatter, but you’ve also saved a life and broken up the fight before you even get there. Coming from someone who’s been in that seat. Don’t fool yourself. Police that speed regardless of department policy do so for the adrenaline rush. They love to speed and would love to have opportunity to get into a fight while on duty as long as they have upper hand of course.
Hey brother I’m In the current process of getting hired through my sheriffs department in Georgetown SC I was invited to a hiring event and I passed my written test had the highest score in my group at 123 outta 125 , I had my board interview next idk if I passed it yet but they had us do the PAT test ( physical agility test) next and required time was 2:06 I ran it in 1:53 and afterwards the SGT said she would be in contact with me regarding the next phase of the process so does that mean that there’s a good chance I passed my board interview? The supervisor who is helping me get hired said that it’s all looking good for me but I’m just waiting for the phone call to take the psych test which is the next phase of the process but until then I’m just left waiting to find out if I passed the board interview or not 🤷♂️

State Police academy is much harder than any military bootcamp. Local donut cops go through elementary school PT. State Police...you better be in Navy Seal shape.

I was harassed for 8 years 7 days a week by Crossroads security guards at West Hills Subdivision in Corinth Ms. Had 7 fired and 22 police reports filed. Director of housing finally terminated their contract

This mom is a classic mama Bear, NOT TODAY! @19:10 mama Bear praises Elk Grove PD because all the years her family was lived in Elk Grove NEVER have they experienced such a threatening encounter with a police officer. Mama Bear called out this badge wearing Rotten Apple, she is giving Elk Grove PD a bad name. This officer was throwing her weight around, trying to show this black Family that she was the one in control and that they needed to obey her commands. And when they didn’t bow down to her, this triggered the police officer. Seriously this police officer has no business working with the public. This is how she behaves anytime someone does not lick her boots. This young man was parking in front of his own house pulling into his driveway .That cop is freaking scary, the family is not objecting to the ticket they are objecting to the police who is attempting to harass their son. It’s obvious that this police officer got pissed off because the Son parked in front of his house and now she can’t get her claws in him. I support law abiding, constitutional, loving Heroes also known as Police Officers. Not power hungry, control freaks like this officer!
