A million thanks!!! I needed to drill the sides of my freezer to fit a shelf i ordered! I could find no answers if it was safe! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Shelf is in! 😃 the holes to insert the shelf were 1/2" off. So I widened the back holes with a drill!

I think you explained the process in the other way arround, the condenser makes it liquid, than send it to the body of the refrigerator, it heats and turn to gas, than dissipates the heat, send again to de condenser and repeat. :)
That "big box" is the Compressor and I send compressed hot gas in to the first coil you showed and that called the condensing coil and changes from super hot to Warm then goes in to a txv or also called expansion value the second coil is called a evaporator coil it it exchanges hot air to cool air then back to the compressor agin I'm not trying to troll I work in the hvacr field this is how your a/c works also just a much bigger scale great video guys

The expander is also known as the evaporator, there is also a compressor which is what actually causes the refrigerant or freon to flow through the system. Sorry I'm studying to be an HVAC technician so I wanted to give you and everyone else a little more knowledge about how a refrigerator works. Good job though!
