I already have the Stormbox Micro and I would say, it is a truly good sounding speaker. It packs alot of punch for it size and it's a tad louder than my Sony Xb12. I hope tribit make a new version of Stormbox micro with tweeter inside for a more superior clear sounding speaker.

Excellent video, thank you very very much for sharing. I recently bought the Tribit 2 upgraded version, giving 12hrs battery 🔋 life. I'm so impressed with this little gem 💎 Really good to see the way you dismantled the Tribit effortlessly 👌🏼 Great Job. The Bluetooth on this thing is incredible.

I just bought one of these because I thought the value (due to good discount) was as good as the Micro 2. For a "lesser" speaker it still impresses. I see now why the Bose Micro had part of the front grille covered, the speakers aren't underneath it at all.

Junkie tweakers did the same thing in the 90s. It was the radio or alarm clock blender. Of course they never put it back together though.

Just ordered the micro 2 for $40, I like how easily repairable they made it, my other choice was the sony xb13 but it's design against repairability turned me off of it.

What does it mean if the speakers turns on and everything but nothing plays? When I put my ear next to the speaker and can hear a very weak sound coming out of it? It doesn't do the turn on/off sounds either? Does it mean the speaker blew up? Is it fixable?

yes you can. as long as it's an 18650 with a higher capacity. but you would need a spot welder to do it safely
