But the things she did where kinda messed up... DT and adora and i think glimmer not really sure on her set her straight but i understood where she came from
Yeah, me too. I had seen her picture a week before I start watching the show and I was like "Ok, I hate the blond one, let her die or let her survive I don't care, I wanna see the cat person". I mean, Adora felt two times from a cliff and she is still alive!
I like manipulative antagonists over power hungry ones? (Idk how to word the other type of villains.) Although Catra is a nice combination of both. She’s well written, has a.. decent I guess reason to be driven to the state she was in. Now before I write a whole novel of how Catra is so well written and other things I’m going to hurry up and end this. Tl;dr. I like manipulative villains but Catra is a nice combination of Power Hungry and Manipulative.
I've always wondered why Catra was allowed to have such a different outfit from the other cadets in the first couple seasons. All I can figure is that she was given a different outfit to increase her range of motion since she was able to move so differently than the others.
she really needed clothes that would let her move freely. she’s a magicat, and we know that cats are very flexible and agile, they can move their body in certain ways that a average person can’t. so it makes sense that the horde would let her have special clothes because these outfits would let her use her special abilities to make a super soldier with all the ninja and gymnastics moves...
Ok but I love how most of this is in chronological order. It really illustrates how her desire to be heard and seen has pushed her through the plot of the series.
@@irlelliewilliams that's true annd she had what it took to be a true Leader in the wastes and make a name for herself there also with Double Trouble there to keep things interesting and just enough excitement and chaos to keep her on her toes from being bored too long
She considered it but she just wanted to finally get recognition she went back to prove something instead of just leaving she was mentally in the right place.
Is no one gonna talk about Catra's outfit and what it could represent/mean? First she had no sleeves meaning she was deciding which side she was on, then she had one sleeve and a glove meaning she was with the horde almost fully. Then at the end she had no sleeves again meaning she was on the rebellion's side.
Can I say Double Trouble is just the absolute best character? Their performances are always accurate and looking at the scene where they were pretending to be Adora I think they knew Catra and Adora cared for eachother
Love the use of DT and Scorpia for Hook's part!!! Also can we talk about how the first time we see Catra's season 4 outfit change is when she is waiting in Hordak's throne 🙌🙌
it's as far as i know there are many but many dimensions parallel to our that we still don't have access to who said our universe is real? it may not be and the dimension of she ra and the princesses of power may even exist but we still don't have access to it right?
"Calling out to lost boys and girls" DT: I'm not either of those, but I can change into one. "I don't need to wear no fake crown" Headset: *Hell yeah I'm better* "Can't see straight" Catra: *gay laugh* not when I'm around
Honestly I understand catra adora was her best friend and she leave her through catras eyes adora abounded her for the ribalian and that broke catra. the ssine were catra ripped the bed and there piekcher was hart ripping
I always thought this would fit so well actually had a similar idea but I cant find a way to get these files/episodes etc? lol ;w; rip. the last regret part when she cuts the webbing was a big thing that did it for me. (and was gonna include her memories and stuff) great minds think alike i guess!? haha... (I mean it makes sense)
is it wrong that if i lived in etheria i would definitely try to be Catra like in the way of her taking over the horde and being 2nd in command and also i aspire to be as strong as her i mean she can take down SHE-RA for Christ's sake!
I must say that i think Catra is the most human of the whole series, it may be that she is very sadistic and all that, but she suffered betrayal by her best friend when she passed next to the princesses, she is just broken
Catra is the most relatable character from what I’ve seen and she just so happens to be in my top five favorites because of that. It’s hard to relate to characters like Glimmer because she has everything, a loving mom who may be a bit over protective, apparently good status just from the place she was born, as well as a healthy environment. It’s hard to relate to that because some people have careless parents or an unhealthy environment. I can relate to Catra because I am in a toxic environment which causes me to lash out at others and be toxic towards them because It’s what I do to cope. Literally being told “If you do anything to your sister I will mangle your body.” Will mess you up even if from an older age, basically Catra’s actions are caused by an abusive environment and because It’s the one thing she’s been taught other than that emotions are a weakness. uh im ending because it’s late and I don’t want to make a fool out of myself.
Descendants and she-ra have broadly similar plots. Adora/mal leaves the villain group where she was born (horde/isle of the lost) and goes to the land with the good guys. There she decides that she wants to be good and fights their evil mother (figure) (shadow weaver/maleficent). Catra/Uma feels betrayed that Adora/Mal left and tries to fight her. In the first Descendants movie and the first season(s) of she-ra it's about the main character discovering who they want to be and the second Descendants movie and later she-ra seasons are more about the ones who were left behind seeking vengeance. I haven't seen the third Descendants movie so I'm not sure if that one follows the storyline of she-ra too or if it's really different
Fuck this was so satisfying to watch just because everything fit so well. Thank you for having a brain of mass intelligence and making this amazing video. It was awesome!
