What's new in Manjaro Xfce 18.0

I've got Manjaro KDE running in a VM as I'm thinking about changing from Linux Mint Cinnamon to something spicier. As a result I came across your videos. They are clear, informative, incredibly helpful and beautifully presented. Hope the new job is as awesome as you expect. (Saw your tweet). I'm a newie to Linux and hope I haven't bitten off too much with Manjaro KDE. Just keep those videos coming and you've got a dedicated subscriber. A big thank you from a Linux convert. Oh could you talk about setting up and using a USB in a Virtual machine please?

I have manjaro kde 18.0 stable installed in virtualbox. I've had nothing but problems with it. Most importantly when ever I move a window around, it moves really jerky. Now recently the guest editions won't work anymore. I may download and install Xfce to see if it's any better. I have Linux mint 17.3 installed in virtual box and it works fine. I have Linux mint 18.3 on hardware and it's really great.

I'm not a Manjaro user because it goes against my thang and that thang is Arch..However I do like watching your videos..How's the baby thing wishing you all the best EVER

Dorian do you install something for your nvidia or use the autoinstall driver proprietary instead manjaro?

Hi, can you pls recommend a good i7 8750h + 1060 6gb laptop that can run Linux (mostly Debian based distros under $1200? The Walmart OP laptops are my first choice, but Linux and OS X incompatibility are holding me back.

How about doing a video on Kvantum? I am going to look into it myself but I think it would be a great video for newbies like me. The thing i don't like about many of these Gnome based desktops are how to customize the CSS files in order to increase the width of scrollbars. I managed to figure most of it out but it's a pain. It's a totally different DOM animal than a browser and I can't find an element list anywhere. That's why I am interested in Kvantum. You can use CSS files to customize it but it's much easier.

If someone burn it to a usb pls let me know what program do you use in Windows. The last Rufus was unable to build GRUB.

Regarding that easy to use GPU and Nividia graphics and Optimus drivers app or menu, do anyone here know if this makes easier to set up an external GPU for a laptop, known as eGPU?

@DorianDotSlash Hi, I'm having a big battle getting Manjaro on my HP OMEN Laptop with the Nvidia GTX 1050, I ran the live with the free drivers selected and it installed, but after installing and rebooting it freezes right after I input the password and press enter...how can I get this beauty to work? Please help!

Trying an os in a Virtual machine is not the same as in real machine. I tried manjaro xfce 18 but there are many problems as in Arch itself. If the manjaro devs Fix the lirc package then may be i will try it again on my real machine
