One of my beloved feline friends, a black cat named Halloween, passed away yesterday on Lughnasadh. This video is a warm and welcome distraction from the grief. He was my most magical cat friend and I hope he’s having the best time haunting my fields 💔
I attended Mystic South again last weekend here in Atlanta and I attended a seminar by the authors of Unquiet Voices. I was excited about the book before the seminar and now I am super excited about it! Also got a signed copy of the book. I also picked up Path of the Moonlit Hedge and Awakening the Witchbood. So many great books!!! Thanks, as always for covering these!
Honestly, it's been three days of August and I'm already feeling all the retrogrades goodness me. I've started shadow work, cut out an incredibly toxic person from my life, and am dealing with a mini depression episode. We love retrogrades lol. Regarding Lughnasadh, I spent the day out with a friend and found so many harvest and Celtic themed booked, mugs, and tarot cards. It was a really lovely day
Good for you, kicking toxic people out, it's a hard thing to do but you should be very proud of yourself! Hoping you get all the love and support you need to pull through the depression. ❤
I have been a shadow listener of yours for quite a time and wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy your videos! You are so magickal, grounded and pleasant!
Whelp, I just added another 5 books to my TBR pile... 📚📚📚 Thanks so much for these videos, Hearth - I find the astrological information very insightful, and the book mentions bad for my wallet 😂
You are a terrible influence on my To Be Read pile, lady. lol! I especially love these videos though, and I really love that you explain the astrological events, I feel so lost with astrology most times and it's wonderful to have someone break it down like this for the month. 🥰
Got Unquiet Voices a couple weeks ago and I have been extremely surprised at its concise accurate information. That has not been dumbed down which is soooo nice. It has been a joy to work with so far and I cannot advise people to buy this one enough. Thank you so much for the mention would have not heard of it at all without you!
I’ve just recently started exploring how to celebrate the sabbats to see if it feels right for me to do. Since Lammas was on Thursday, I took off work to have a long weekend. I went for a walk to the local park down the road & sat at the small labyrinth for a bit enjoying the quiet. I live on a busy road so get a lot of traffic noise when I sit outside. When I got home, I put on a simmer pot and refreshed my altar. I also paid a visit to the metaphysical shop to get some crystal chips for a money bowl I want to put together after the new moon. Now I just have to find the right place for it in my apartment.
Learning about all the energies of the retrograde today explains the last two weeks 😅 what a ride. It’s been so long since I sat and watched witchy content but I had the hankering. I’m so happy to be back to your channel you never disappoint!😊
My lughnasadh was sun rising breakfast on the porch table set up as an alter to Brighid, Cernunnos and the Earth itself. Prayers of thanks to them as well. Lunch inside (summertime Texas!) of cheeses, baked bread, and wine. Tea time outdoor charcoal grilled burger with garden salad from my garden, and you guessed it wine. Each meal with prayers and thanks.
yet again, i NEVER grow bored of your channel. i look forward to reading more reviews on the tarot grimoire, because i just love incorporating cards into my spell work.📚📚 also, the amount of effort you conjure in your videos does not go unnoticed.~
Unquiet Voices is fantastic and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. The Authors lend a systematic approach to Sciomancy and offer a splendid introduction to their craft. This book is more informative than others and I impressed with its brilliant execution. Thank you Hearth ❤, you are inspirational and love your videos. Sending so much love 💕
📚📚📚 Oh my goodness, that is a lot of books for one month! Thank you for presenting so many! Like you, I'm really interested in Elemental Spirits. Sounds great!
I really love and appreciate your take on retrogades in general. So often they are our first excuse when something goes wrong. To view them as an opportunity to see what we need to work on in our own lives is empowering and far more appropriate. ❤
Thank you for doing these videos! I am an avid reader and it really helps hearing your opinion and impressions of the books coming out each month. This is a big help. I am thinking about getting Unquiet Voices, Stellar Vibrations, The Silver Branch and the Other-world, Spell work and Spell Craft and Elemental Magic.
Thank you so much!!!i got a couple of very interesting titles to look up... i love your video's! Very informative, but also honest and i love that, you don't claim to know everything like some other witches and what i love the most is how you let everyone know that there is not one rule to practise witchcraft but that it is a personal belief and if it works for you then that is your practise... to many witches out there claiming that their way of doing it is the only way... thank you again from the Netherlands ❤🥰
I haven't read this yet, but " Backwoods Witchcraft: Conjure and Folk Magic from Appalachia" by Jake Richards... Looks to be more folklore than how-to, but that's just first glance.. I watched this episode in its entirety.
📚📔📕📗📘📙📚 Awesome effort on this one, August is looking to be the month of book investing. Love the work you do for this witchy community, honestly believe your channel is one of the best I've come across since coming out into the witchy social media world. Vastly under rated the knowledge you hold.
I find it hard to find books that give fresh "new" insights. I sometimes feel its rerun material and wasting my time. Reading time is a luxury for me. Although, I do get your perspective on seeing how others "do it" with a variety of style or new nuiances. Love the story/fairytale books, I will check those out. Thank you for listing the new books!
📚 📖 📕 I’m excited for the Llewelyn books. I get them every year and I enjoy them a lot. I’m more looking forward to September and October personally. I’ve already preordered Mat Auryns The psychic art of tarot releasing September 8th in the US. Then in October Witches among us by Thorn Mooney releasing on the 8th and on the 29th Tarot for light seers a companion book for the tarot deck by Chris-Anne which is quite possibly my most favorite deck ever so I’m really looking forward to this book. Thanks for you recommendations. I’ve added several of them to my TBR list. 🫶🏼
📖 Thank you for your time... I am a solo witch from beautiful British Columbia Canada without anyone around me who understands what I am... So I often feel isolated and scattered... I stumbled upon your channel and love your energy... If all the book recommendations I think the one that jumps out for me is Elemental Spirits by Jaq D Hawkins I love that it comes out on my son's birthday... Thank you for your time and effort
Thank you for your channel. I love it 💚💚💚 Just thought that I'd add another possibly tempting deck to the releases. The Good Fortune Tarot by Barbara Moore is due to be released August 8th. I've pre ordered and am excitedly waiting.
It’s definitely hitting hard. We have 5 planets in retrograde right now. Planets currently stationed Retrograde. Pluto 🟣 Retrograde May 2nd. Direct October 11th. Saturn 🪐 Retrograde June 29th. Direct November 15th. Neptune 🌐 Retrograde July 2nd. Direct December 7th. Chiron 🩶 Retrograde July 26th. Direct on December 29th. 🔘2nd Mercury Retrograde of the year. Aug 4th - Aug 28th.
📖 thank you for this video series! I always get some really interesting suggestions for books and decks, I think I'm most excited for Fortune In Your Hands by Alaric Albertsson and Pagan Portals by The Oak Witch!
Well done on this, quite a month for releases! I think the Raven Gramassi books are re-publishings, as I saw The Calderon of memory on Amazon released back in 2009. So may just be they are publishing updated versions. Same for Elemental Spirits as well, I think. Thank you so much for this though! 📚
I already have The Curious Lore of Precious Stones on pre-order for the U.S. re-release next month. You are like a pusher for my book addiction. I will look into the rest of these books when I get back from my Bibliophiles 12 Step meeting. 😃📚
There are several books mentioned that I definitely want to get at some point. Thanks so much for sharing. also, there is another history book I bought recently that was released this past June. The Witch of Pungo Grace Sherwood in Virginia the History and the legend by Scott O. Moore. This caught my eye because of its history local to the place I currently live in the city of Virginia Beach, Virginia here in America. It is what information the author could amass about Grace Sherwood, the only person convicted of witchcraft in the 16th century when America was still a Colony of Great Britain. She was "ducked" and lived to tell the tale, served time in prison, and lived in her 80s.
I was wondering, you should be a book broker. I wrote down the time of each book so i can go back re listen to the description. Thanks for the good video.
Thank you again Hearth for these videos that you put out I am truly grateful 🙏💫🌌 and please do let us know how you feel about the fairy book " Fairy Herbs for Fairy Magic," If you do get around to reading it. Thank you again, and your videos are never too long ✨️
Having already read 2 of these, I can honestly say that "Magic at the Crossroads" was easily an 8/10 to 9/10 book, I really did enjoy that one! It was a fun, engaging and really informative read, and while I'm sure some would get ruffled feathers from the initial concepts, I think many would learn useful information from it. However, A Warlocks Way... wasn't that great. Seems to be a lot heavier on the Paganism aspects of the craft, which is probably fine for some, but... Lost interest for me very quickly. I actually refunded the ebook, which isn't something I do very often. He maybe should have been more clear about that in the description of his book, honestly. Looking forward to grabbing the (updated?) Elemental Spirits book later this month, as that looks like it'll be really interesting!
💶💷💴 I’m not sure if these are books but they look like books to me. I love and look forward to each and all of your videos. I am a book worm it just warms my little heart when you share new books. I am most looking forward to reading are wild witch earth magic, magic at the cross roads and unquiet voices. I hope you are having a wonderful day ❤
📚,💝 Thank you so much for sharing , The book that stood out to me the most was UnQuiet Voices , so looking forward to reading this when it comes available. Thank you again I love all you’re content , 💜📚🙌
I have learned a lot from listening to a RU-vid video called “Cyclomancy; the secret to psychic power control by Frank Rudolph Young Love cards by Robert Lee Camp is a great book for understanding people weather it’s family, work or in a relationship I know it’s not really classified as magic books but honestly I have learned more from these two books, your channel and the Rothschild’s than I have any where else
