Your video about silly games inspired me to create a cozy game of my own. (It also got me to buy Sticky Business and play it for... a totally reasonable amount of time...) This video has given me another jolt of inspiration and motivation, so thank you!
I really enjoy watching your videos while I crochet! And I'd love a game where the focus is actually making drinks in a cafe-- not waiting tables or farming like LemonCake or Travellers Rest, but more akin to the cooking minigame in Calico (although maybe not cooking as a shrunk down person running ingredients to a bowl). I'm waiting for Trash Goblin, which I think Viscera Cleanup Detail and Powerwash Simulator kinda paved the way for, although Trash Goblin is more up my alley and has better accessibility for me.
Not that this is an unexplored area of life sim, but I always figured we'd have more employment-based sims. There are for sure things like truck driving simulators, power wash simulators, restaurant sims, etc. but less so fully realized life sims revolving around a particular job? Maybe that's too real-life and not a fun concept, but I do like the idea of having and growing my own little business as like an artisan or something.

A cozy game in a genre ive never seen before is coming out that im super hyped for. Love, Ghostie comes out next month and is a simple game about a ghost matchmaking different animals in the apartment complex. The best thing i can compare it to are old dating flash games, Kitty Powers, and the Fire Emblems that let you matchmake. I played the demo an highly recommended it.
great video salem!!! hmm i definitely hope more cozy games with supernatural or dnd elements come out. also games with more exploration! exploring a world is just so neat. also more multiplayer games would be good too i think
I think new combat styles will be in future cozy games. Maybe some stuff like Ooblets with the cards and Haunted Chocolatier might have some newer combat mechanics that will get cloned.
Really appreciated exploring these ideas :) Harvest Moon A wonderful Life was one of my first gaming experiences. Haven't tried the remake I've been on another a stardew Valley kick the last few weeks,... it's been a recurring way for me to address my depression. I've got faith in cozy games to help my mental health improve because I've visited them before, and by chance or intent, by the time I'm ready to put a cozy game down....i feel better. I trust these games that the metaphorical "mess of my farm" that is my brain and body, can be tended to, cleared out. That there can be made room for a new growth. Cozy games for me are so pivotal for a sense of change, deeply affecting the area around me- it helps me believe that my life itself can possibly see growth and renewal season to season too. I would love a shift to some more varied aesthetics, too. I love the cottagecore and witchy games that crop up a lot in this genre, but I think we could also do with some variation in environments, design, and various thematic gameplay elements to really bring some more dynamic ideas to cozy gaming

PLEAAAAAAASEEEEE😓😓😓😓 we only get new cooking games mostly on mobile (go check out little corner tea house it's rlly awesome) i would love to see some cooking games, whether they have store management stuff, just in house cozy cooking or whatverr else PLEEEAAAAAASEEEEEEE 🧎🧎🧎 any game developer please hear my cries i will give u the soul of my firstborn for a nice cozy cooking game that can be a bit difficult but is fullfilling at the end and has some sort of story and i can play it until the end of times 😓😓😓😓😓
I’d love to see a cozy game by square enix set in the ff universe! Maybe you farm and fight the occasion monster for materials, maybe you run a shop for heroes!
