Super cool project Manny. If it helps, brushed aluminium like polish or chrome tends to call for more. Here, polished parts really shine because they're mounted on a black bike. Maybe you're plan to apply carbon on a brushed swing arm could counter-balanced the shiny effect of such a big part. Whatever you do , you can't go wrong as the bike is already a piece of art.
Carbon won't cover it fully, I think it will cover it just eonugh to break up the swing arms look, it maybe a little too distracting from the rest of the bike if its left all exposed.
A definite yes to the brushed and sealed finish....not sure about carbon on it, easy to mock up and see how it would look though. That swingarm seems pretty heavy, despite being lightened, but with all the forces controlled on one side it will always be heavier than a dual sided - all motogp have dual sided for this reason...function over fashion. Have always wanted to see a motogp type swingarm on a v4 road bike, now that would be different !!
One of a kind idea on that swingarm.. The current colour of the bike's swingarm + the silver tank give it a symmetric look, also a bit of sinister appeal to it. Having the swingarm match the tank's colour will be be very unique. and giving it a positive thought, it will present an asymmetric appearance for the sp2. Would also add attention especially when it rides down the road.. So I guess the question is.. Asymmetric or symmetric? 😄 Because either already looks amazing. As you build the best looking and most functional bikes man. Brilliant 🤙
If your going to all the trouble of the polished swingarm. Don’t use a carbon cover, leave it raw 👍🏼 How about a thumb operated rear brake. Delete the foot operation
Hey Mani another great video bike looks so awesome that swingarm would look so cool i think you should put that on the bike. Thank's again for the video ride safe buddy.
