Finally a good Swordsoul player this week…as a fellow Swordsoul player it made me proud

This week was nuts. Loved the back and forth duels.

Almost every time Gimmick Puppet Nightmare gets used, it's as part of a winmore situation. The only real exception to that AT ALL is going Sanctifire Pass vs. Maxx "C". Any other setup where you could bring out the puppet you could (AND usually SHOULD) do something better. Fun fact: If you fuse off a Druiswurm you own summoned to the opponent's side of the field with Sanctifire, it floats to send one of THEIR other (special summoned) monsters to the GY. This can be super nasty if they're still setting up, especially if you have the ability to make Lubellion into Mirrorjade with an Albaz special summoned by a Quem or Sanctifire(the latter mainly coming up in mirrors).

holy molly, that final duel really highlight why maxx c is perfectly legal in ygo. The amount of disruption swordsoul able to play through under puppet lock is insane! 40 vs 60 cards btw

Grand final duel is nut! I used to think swordsoul is not really good in the current meta. Who know it’s just because I suck😂

As a swordsoul player who parked my deck i am honoured by GOT he played absolutely flawless in my eyes and he is making me pick back up my swordsoul deck with the tech he is using and play lines i once again honour GOT

Swordsoul 🔥 almost two years still top tier in the right hands. The puppet lock is disgusting (no hate on Branded). I've been using the swordsoul tenyi for so long and still a viable and powerful deck ❤️

Branded despia is probably the most expensive deck to build in the game. Komoney might actually not touch it whatsoever for a LONG time.

Very hilarious that Manadium is built to have visas in the deck, but cant even use visas to pop Riumheart.

The problem with the other monsters is that they lock summons while on field, so tributing them in any way ends the lock.

It seems that Herald of the Abyss is a decorative card for some players hahaha XD

Chat really didn’t want to see chaos ruler ban “bc it’s fun “ . I think this next ban last is obvs hitting Dlink and they are targeting it’s extension plays , yeah dlink . Chaos ruler not needed but picking up any extender is what makes it go from just 2 Negates to 4+ disruptions .

Actually the first duel seeing alba lentus being summoned and the branded player winning most of the time the dlink player wins after it for some reason

First duel in the finals the herald was a massive misplay. That herald could have won the duel

If you play ghosttrick extra win condition with zoodiac and time thief you can get 10 mats on the third turn after having the xyz on the field. Imagine this on a zeus, 2-3 mats every turn stacking on a 1 Rank utopia xD

The final was the great! Toxic puppet meet toxic protos but i cheer for swoso dude, that guy already mastered swoso and manage to win againts some "meta" bs negate banish etc. Gonna play swoso again i guess lmao

Sadly my family is always low vibrational i have hope i get my new job so i can travel and talk to people all i need is to get out of my situation so i can fully heal because even though im healing my family tries to bring me down. Heavenly dragon circle is low key one of the best cards in the game

Funny part of the albion combo is how nobody actually understands what's going on Had a duel with black wing and they negated everything else and another time they attacked my despia monsters thinking that was my main gimmick. Gimmick puppet and ra's disciple are easy to get in graveyard and to block your opponent. I got like a dozen vids showing me do it.

What I don’t understand is how stun deck players, or players who use floodgates, feel like they have room to talk about puppet lock. I don’t like any of the above strategies. But when I hear the above, I feel like it’s the pot calling the kettle black.

Oh I just love how Maxx c is free and thriving while pot of greed is dead😀.

Branded despia player relied WAYYYYY to much on gimmick puppet lock. He literally cost himself the duel trying to get to the lock instead of just going for the win without it.

So glad to see no vanquish soul in the top 8, as a branded sword soul player, it's nice to see a normal sword soul win the whole tourney :3 Also learned about that set albaz thing from tsx1's stream of duelist cup, didn't know you can just set and don't have to summon it face up, dkayed was late on that info 😂

At the finals match two, couldn't the SS just player priority activated Call by the Grave? Even if Branded activated Super Poly afterwards, Call by would have stilled resolved and gotten rid of the Puppet.

I mean when do we think its time to neuter branded….. its been the best if not one of the very top decks every since its release…. Everyother deck that has this presence (adamancipator,DLink, etc )has been neutered yet this one gets more and more support with limits that do nothing to the deck simply adds more room for the new support

Mannadium ...is very powerful deck (not ready yet but getting there)....I had matches I lost that I should win because I made mistake...(kicking Branded and Swordsoul in ranked)....Very Powerful deck...players don t know how to build it...Just Copy Paste from RU-vid...u need to change things a little bit
