How does the trophies plug in affect you pan account? Any chance of getting banned? I want to mod my vita but I also don't want to miss out on trophies..
Grande riga, bello stile dell'interfaccia. Hai fatto qualche video tutorial su come modificarla?
@@Riga89 You calling me a liar mate? That's not nice! You download the emulator then you download the game and then you download somthing else that I forgot what it's called and you can play tekken 3 online. It tricks into a second controller just look it up
I'm not calling you a liar man 😅😊 I'm just saying that there's no online mode in Tekken 3 or any other PS1 game and there's no online functionality in any PS1 emulator. There's only an online functionality in a modified version of PCSX2 which is a PS2 emulator. If you search for "Tekken 3 online" you will only find online emulators for the game which let's you play the game through your browser, but you aren't playing in an online mode. You can only play the standard game in arcade mode (and the other modes) 😅 in Duckstation there's the Multitap functionality to play with a friend on the same PC with a second controller. Give me a link to some article, maybe I've been missing out something but I'm pretty sure about the fact that there's no online mode in PS1 games, since the original PlayStation never had that functionality.
@@Riga89 Bro I have played this! I have done this! I played against other people on tekken 3 on a 3rd party programme along with the emulator. It doesnt only just work on tekken either. I just searched it and found videos on it instantly
Yes, since the PS Vita has to be formatted to install custom firmware. You can backup the games and their savedata in 2 ways: first one is trough PS Plus Online Saving function. Second one is by using the Content Manager app on the Vita itself. It'll ask you to install a program called CMA on your PC. It may not work properly. In that case search for QCMA instead, which is an unofficial but better version of it. After done with the mod you can restore the games. Then you won't need to backup the entire games library on your PC anymore in order to backup savedata since there are apps for the Vita that can be used to backup savedata only. The Throphies are related to your PSN account i stead so you just have to log in again after the mod is completed to sync them. I don't suggest you to do that anyway since there's still a remote chance that Sony may ban your Vita or your entire PSN account for using a modded system so be careful.. I've logged into my account for more than a year without any issue but now I'm permanently logged off on the Vita
It's called "Dark Anniversary" and you can search for it in the "Custom Theme Manager" app for the PS Vita (there are a lot of tutorials on how to install it on Google/RU-vid in case you don't already have it) 😊👍🏻 and then I've applied one of the blue stock wallpapers of the Vita
Hey Riga! I'm very fascinated 😍 for the GTA icons at 3:14. Could you please provide us a link from where you've got those icons. Also if you have time make a tutorial of it. Thanks!
Install the app "Custom Theme Manager" (there are a lot of ttutorials on youtube) and search for "Dark Anniversary" in it👍🏻 you obviously need custom firmware installed on your Vita 😊
I've downloaded and copied into the Vita an icon pack then loaded the GTA icon with Adrenaline Bubble Manager. I think the link was the Google Drive one in this reddit post 😊👍🏻 www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/do0a2a/the_ultimate_psp_abm_bubbles_pack_is_here_170/
It's weird. Are you sure to be connected to the right wifi? Try to use your smartphone tethering function, creating an hotspot with no password so it can be fully open. Then try to connect to that hotspot and see what happens. Then always use REFOOD plugin cause it can solve a lot of games related problems
Sure 😊 but go easy on them cause if you unlock every Trophy at the same time they could track you and maybe suspend or even ban your account for cheating or modding the console. Sony can do that. So unlock them one by one and in separate moments of the day possibly 👍🏻
Yes, you can insert a Micro SD card into an adapter called SD2VITA (it costs around 5 or 6 dollars on Amazon) and use it as the main storage. A modding procedure is required in order to do that, there are many tutorials on RU-vid 👍🏻 just search for "SD2VITA mod"
Hey man! I wanted to know if you have some info on how I could get Vita dev kit these days... or is it impossible and I’ll have to get a retail one? Can I make public official games for this system?
Hi :) well I'd suggest you to search for it on eBay but I think if they are still available they would probably super expensive! And by public games do you mean on the PlayStation Store? Cause if I remember correctly there's an app for the Vita for homebrew games and apps which is still very active
Riga89 well I saw one for 500 bucks on eBay and anyways eBay isn’t available in my country. It’s too expensive anyways. So what exactly is home brew? Is it an official way to make games that will be available on the PS store (and physical if they still make it)? Also if I have to spend money, how much will it be on average?
Homebrew is a software or an app that is done by an individual like me or you, more like an amateur project with no big budget behind it. Homebrew games and apps are usually spread throughout an unofficial store like this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jezeMNNgR1c.html There won't probably be any more game for the Vita on the PS Store, at least not big ones. And I don't know how much developing a game would cost. It's more a time spending process I guess :) I spent 70€ for my used Vita which is around 80$ plus another 30€ for the 256Gb Micro SD and 5€ for the SDTOVITA adaptor.
Riga89 oh well. I’m 14 (this is my dad’s account so don’t worry about the profile pic) and I wanna make a game for friends to play together. I currently have an old PC and a mobile. I can’t play games with those friends of mine who own PS4s and stuff like that. Well not more than minecraft I guess so. I’m inspired by this youtuber named Dani. He’s a game dev and is making this kinda low poly game. I realised I can make it possible for all friends to play cross platform. I’m getting a new PC but what about the people who don’t have one? So I decided to make a free game for everyone. I can’t resist to make it available for the Vita. Lots of people will thank me if I let them play with all of their friends wether they have a dual RTX 2080 ti monster or something like a 3DS or a Vita. Just one last question. Can I get a first hand one now? Also my main concern is if people will be able to play cross platform. Actually I wanna know if online will work considering the Vita will technically be jail broken. Also will non homebrew guys be able to play it? Thanks for all the info though. Never found a youtuber who wouldn’t ignore me after my second question (or comment you could say ;) )
That's awesome bro, go on with your project, it does seem to be a really good idea! :) And yes, I think there are still new PSVita around, more 2000 models (with LCD screen and a plastic shell at the front) than the 1000 ones (like mine, with OLED screen and all glass at the front). The 2000 also has 1Gb memory already inside. My suggestion is to buy one on Amazon, they are still expensive though, around 250$ which was their original price. But you can find even used ones for cheaper, it really does depend on what you are looking for. In Italy we also have sites where users sell their stuff directly to you. You just contact and meet him/her in person and give them the money for the product. It's called www.subito.it and maybe there's something similar in your country. I reached a guy from my hometown and bought my Vita from him after seeing it in person. So that's about it, then after you find one I think it's really a matter of coding and converting the game for various platforms like PC, Android/iOS, PSVita. But other than that I'm not an expert about this kind of stuff so maybe try to contact some developer like the ones who published their games in that Homebrew Browser app that I've linked you before and see how it goes :) I really hope you can start your project and do something fun for you and your friends! Try also to write a post on reddit.com in the r/vita and r/vitahacks threads. I think someone there could help you to get started 👍👍 and finally if eBay is locked in your country you can change the DNS in your PC using the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 just search this DNS thing on Google and Wikipedia) or use a VPN (also search for its meaning on Google/Wikipedia) to go on sites that your country may censor :)
There are many tutorials on youtube 👍🏻 search for "ps vita 3.65 downgrade" to install the permanent mod. It's the one I use and I haven't had any problem 👍🏻
Mmm wait, what plugins do you need to play Uncharted? 😅 You don't need any of them you just download the game through PKGJ or copy the vpk from the PC and that's it, like for every other game
Well I don't know then, just try to clean both the MicroSD and the adapter and the Sony Memory Card if you use one and then turn back on the Vita. The other option is to rebuild the database through the recovery menu but I don't remember if this erase the mod or not. But since this is probably due to an error of the mod, in that case you could reinstall it from the scratch.
i know im kinda late but i was wondering since i cant really get sd2vita adapter since it would cost me fortune to ship to my place is it ok to use normal vita memory?how much mod takes up space on card and can i just erase games when im done with them and download new?sry im new to this stuff.i would appriciate if someone could help me.ty
Yes you can also use an original PS Vita memory card, I suggest you to pick up a 4Gb one since the games can be up to 2.5Gb. Then you can delete them and download again. The mod doesn't take too much space tho, I think less than 1Gb. But you can find the SD2VITA adapter on Amazon for like 5$ then a 32 or 64 or whatever you like Micro SD card for 10 or 15$. So you would spend double the price for the Sony Card bro.. Amazon sends stuff everywhere nowadays. From 13th to 15th of October there are the Prime days, in which you can find micro SD cards for really cheap, I bought mine (256Gb) for 30€ plus 5€ for the adapter. I think the 4Gb Sony Card costs 30€ so it's definitely not worth it
Where are you from bro? Cause on Amazon they ship for free if you subscribe for Prime. There is 1 month free subscription if you do that for the first time. Or you can use a new email and create a new account to get another free month of Prime than unsubscribe after that 😊
Ok 😊 have you tried to download the Amazon app on your phone? Because then you can just activate the 1 month free Prime subscription to see how much would it cost without the shipping costs 👍
You can easily follow these tutorials for modding your PSVita just by using a PC 😊 First of all update your Vita to its latest firmware (3.73) then start from this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uUQs-QjSfsI.html then then this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ewAA5ihXng.html then this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0paqkI3TN4s.html You can then follow this tutorial for setting up the SD2VITA adaptor (5 or 6 dollars on Amazon) with a Micro SD Card inside (I suggest you at least 64Gb) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--DkQ74Mtq9A.html and this one to install the PKGJ app, which lets you download free games, Adrenaline to emulate the PSP and Autoplugin to install other apps and plugins 👍🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjcfVWPDQ2k.html they are very easy to follow and in about an hour you can set up your Vita like you've seen in my video 😊 P.S. You'll need an Original PS Vita memory card to start all this only if you have the OLED model (the first one, like mine). In case you have the LCD model you won't need a Sony memory card because it already has 1Gb of memory inside.
You should have put it into a bowl full of rice to let it dry, you still can do it, but water could have damaged the buttons contacts. Anyway you can try to disconnect then reconnect the battery. If you have the 1000 model (the one with the oled screen like mine) you can follow my tutorial here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qtAAWt4RGak.html it does a sort of reset of the system but it doesn't erase any of your content. And while doing this you can see if it's still wet inside
I'm sure there are some tutorials on how to disconnect the battery on the slim model :) just search for them on RU-vid. I hope you can solve that problem bro! Meanwhile put it for an entire day into a bowl full of rice so it can fully dry
Ciao :) no, proverò a cercarlo!
You can edit the icons and load different ones on the app itself (there are many images per game) or import new images. You can search for images packs on Google 👍🏻
It's called Dark Anniversary and you can find it in the Custom Theme Manager app :) you can search for it by pressing Start after entering the download section of the app itself
If you find one under 100$ and you mod it by yourself yes, it is worth it. But keep in mind that if you want to expand the internal memory, which is pretty much a must, you need to add a Micro SD up to 256Gb so you also have to consider its cost. I've paid my Vita 70€ (about 80$) then 30€ for the 256Gb Micro SD then 5€ for the adapter 👍🏻😊 it can run many emulators and it's more powerful, and if you get the one with the OLED screen it's beautiful
Yes, even though it's not recommended going online with a modded PS Vita (and modded console in general) since there is still a remote possibility of being banned from the PSN. Anyway I did it in the past and nothing happened. A couple of years ago came out a news about Sony explaining that they actually know who has a modified PS Vita, which games people play and how many hours they play them. But there aren't reports about banned people from the PSN so I guess that Sony doesn't care about it anymore at this point 😊 anyway it's a thing to keep in mind if you want to earn trophies on a modded PS Vita. You can find some articles on Google about that story 👍🏻
Yes, but it's a temporary mod. You have to run an application every time you turn on the Vita and then waiting for the reboot. So the best option is downgrading to 3.65 or 3.60 and install the permanent one. In terms of games compatibility there's a plugin in the Autoplugin app which let the games think that you have the latest firmware, so using an old version like 3.65 isn't a problem at all 😊 the plugin is called "reFOOD" and there are tutorials about it, like on Tech James channel, where he explains it all👍
When you install the mod there's an option in the settings called "Spoofing" in which you write the number of the latest version of the firmware (3.73 in this case) even if you have 3.65 for example. This procedure let the system think that you have 3.73 instead of 3.65. Just like the reFOOD plugin does for the games. You just have to change the number everytime a new update comes out (hopefully not LoL). Then there's also an app called Update Blocker which stops the Vita to search for updates. With these 2 methods you can set up the mod without worrying of erasing it in case of updates because they'll never ever pop up 👍
It's called Dark Anniversary and you can find it in the Custom Theme Manager app. You can search for it by pressing Start after entering the download section of the app itself 👍

I'm not downloading them from the internet I'm downloading them from PKGJ which is a secure and reliable app, it's a free shop for games. Everybody who has the mod on the Vita use it and there are no "fake" vpk in there 👍🏻 I haven't seen any fake vpk anywhere else anyway, even on my usual sites for games. It's like PSP and PS2 ISOs, they are compatible for those system only or they simply don't work, it's not like PC games which can include virus and stuff like that. Never had a problem 😉👍🏻
Hello riga89 I see your video And i like Is the thing .You think is possible You could make And SD card And a playstation Vita memory card 4gb & put all that program into it & sell it to me
I'm sorry man but I don't do this. Mmm I'm not too sure bro :) they released 3.73 six months ago or so but it's just an update to try blocking the modding community. I sure won't update my console anymore and as you can see in the video I use an app called Update Blocker, and in the Vita settings I have an option where I can set a firmware version (for example 3.73) to fool the system and letting it believe I have the latest version while still using an old modded one like 3.65 :) so better not updating if you wanna ever mod it or if you already did
It requires just a lot of patience because you'll need an afternoon to do all the mods but installing the custom firmware it's pretty easy. The SD2VITA mod it's a little bit longer but of you follow a good tutorials there's nothing to be worried about 😊 all the apps I've shown in the video are just files to install after you've done the main mod (custom firmware + SD2VITA + Vitashell + Autoplugin)
You can choose a different theme to avoid bright icons like the one in the right up corner for the notifications and the bar at the top. But OLED screens suffers from burn in after some time so it's impossible to avoid the problem forever. New screens are not too expensive tho, you can find one pretty easily on eBay for cheap 👍🏻
I only had crashes due to a plugin when opening Adrenaline which causes the Vita to shut down, I don't remember which exact plugin is but after having uninstalled it everything worked fine. I showed the issue here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qtAAWt4RGak.html I guess people having problems with the console may have installed that plugin too or just messed around installing 2 versions of a same plugin, like one for firmware 3.60 and one for 3.65, or for different Vita models, like one for the fat and one for the slim. Otherwise I haven't had any problem with the rest of the plugins 😊
