Brilliant! Glad you got to do this, Anthony. Nice you got great weather and it looks like there were lots of interesting things along the way. I look forward to watching this day by day.
I thought it was a great walk, although I was so fortunate to have great weather pretty much throughout. It is very hilly and I'd advise taking a couple of days longer than I did but there's certainly some fantastic scenery along the way.
i appreciate the rocky montage training music. This trail has never been on my hit list as im slowly working through my favs but now i will definately get more info on offas.
Haha I couldn’t resist. I went for Offa’s Dyke as it was similar in distance to the Coast to Coast which I loved. I think ODP came very close to C2C to be fair. Really enjoyed it and can’t fault the scenery. Though I was extremely fortunate with the weather. Love the name by the way 😄👍🏼
Excellent! I watched this from start to finish. Deserved to have greater number of views and comments. I am well aware of Offa’s Dyke but didn’t realise how beautiful and rewarding it is. Look forward to your next videos (maybe one day you will do Cotswold Way).
Beautiful video. I live in the US & was watching a program I love call Ariel Britain bc I love all things Britain. They featured Offa's Dyke Path on a segment so I had to come look it up. Would love to view this beautiful journey one day. Thanks for your video. Brenda in Atlanta GA 7-12-2022
Yes, you can get lost. It is pretty well signposted but there are many areas where there are limited signs. You will need either map and compass or some form of GPS or good mapping app on a phone. I imagine it could be a bit cold, wet and miserable (particularly up high) in November and you will probably be surrounded by lots of cloud. I would say good map reading skills will be essential. Best of luck if you go for it but I’d advise saving it for summer 👍🏼
@@pipes-hikes wow thanks for the info I appreciate it. And you reply so fast. I'm just so desperate. I wanna go unwind and away form stress. I'm thinking maybe I'll do dales way instead. I know it's in a rush decision. And my navigation skills isn't that good either. But thanks for your response really.
Apologies I've only just spotted your comment. I wasn't sure what you meant by Greenslade but a quick search reveals they were a rock band so I'm guessing you meant the tune that I used for the vid?? If so I know it from the Rocky films. I don't know if it was originally done or redone by someone else, but the track I have is called Training Montage and is supposedly by Vince DiCola.
