I know right...I think he tends to get nervous when Rhett calls him on it...he does ok then Rhett says something and he drops whats in his hands or worse I HAVE A BALL OF FIRE...I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS.
3934brookie you’d have to visit the restaurant in person to really get a sense of what the steaks are like. Texas Roadhouse’s 12oz or 16oz ribeye, I highly recommend.
3934brookie you need to get them fresh like they just cooked it. Texas Roadhouse makes a goodass steak especially the ribeye. And then rolls... those things are amazing and that cinnamon butter too 👌
This comment is gonna get lost, but thank you guys so much for having quality subtitles for your videos. As someone with hearing difficulties, the subtitles help me so much in being able to enjoy your content.
Everyone likes a better steak. People only convince themselves otherwise because of other factors like the sight of "blood", etc. Blind taste-test people and they'll pick the juicier, more tender and more flavorful steak most of the time.
@@pangurbanthecat4043 I keep trying to think of something to reply to you because I feel as though I have to (I mean, are you for real right now?), but I just can't think of anything.
Howabout Notachance I work in a grocery store meat department, I can tell you right now that anything above medium rare is just a state of denial and self loathing. Medium rare is the only correct type. Lower than that and it’s alright? But you’re being a little extra, probably posing. Higher than that and you don’t love meat or America. The truth is that it doesn’t matter at all how pink a meat is as long as it reaches the correct recommended safe temperature for that meat.
I don't know what you call medium rare but for the most part those were all over cooked. Then again, when I order my steak I tell the server to walk it through a warm room.
I've never seen an episode I was so confident about the results ahead of time, that ended up exactly as I expected. Texas Roadhouse and Outback are the only places I'd ever even consider eating a steak from a chain restaurant. Even then, I'd say in reality, you'd be better spending your $20-$25 somewhere other than any of these places.
I used to work at a longhorn steakhouse here in Kentucky. Honestly some of the best steaks I've ever had from a chain steakhouse, its too bad they aren't big enough to be on GMM I would have loved to see them try it.
Longhorn Steak House is the best! I live in Palm Springs and the closest one is in Arizona...might be worth the trip. Ruth's Chris's Steak house is extremely good, but a steak there is a week's food budget.
I've never been able to get a steak right anywhere I order, if I want a medium steak. I always ask for Medium rare. If I want a really good steak, my dad is the way to go, lol. He was the man at prepping/making steak
Yeah, they’re both cooked to medium. If it were medium-rare, there’d be a little blood in the middle. Link’s Chili’s steak was the only one I saw that was actually cooked to medium-rare.
I ordered steak for my mother and I tonight as I have been stuck with her during the corona virus. Her exact words “Do you want to get Applebee’s steak?” I said “No I just have a bad feeling about them.” So I ordered outback and it be on the way now!!!
OUTBACK FOR THE WIN! Best damn steak I've ever had but, to each their own. Could also depend on where you live, not every single restaurant everywhere is the same. I actually think the Sizzler I have near me is the 2nd best steak with Texas Roadhouse being 3rd (if that, because they always over-cook and under-season)
I've never had a steak from anywhere BUT Roadhouse and Outback. And I usually don't even bother with those, because grilling your own steak is infinitely better.
I'm spending some of my quarantine time rewatching gmm. Next time you try steaks or test steak sauces, you gotta try Pickapeppa sauce. It's my favorite. It's the only one I eat. You'd probably like it
I read this comment and thought "What? Is that possible?" And then that point in the video arrived. And I thought "Oh. That comment is incredibly accurate." 😂😂
I knew it would come down to Outback and Texas Roadhouse. If only one of these places served warm yeast rolls with honey-cinnamon butter that could serve as some sort of a tie-breaker. Oh well.
Yeah it seemed like they were hoping for Outback to win and it skewed the results. He liked TR better but they seemed to try to push outback for some reason.. wonder why..
@@keithquick That's what I had just a week ago or so and it was definitely very good. But Longhorn Steakhouse is excellent as well. It's a close call between those two for me. Outback would probably come in 3rd if we're talking about Chain restaurants. Anybody remember Tony Roma's?
I worked at Grady's American Grill, owned by the company that owns Chili's and Romano Macaroni Grill. I ran the huge wood fire grill. I made a damn good steak. And now years later, I have my own bbq business.
Longhorns is unimpressive and way overpriced in my opinion. I've had $100 steaks that were worth every penny and the closest thing I've found in a chain is Texas Roadhouse. (It's not very close, mind you. That $100 steak was what I imagine they serve in Heaven!)
Matthew Slusser last time I went the manager told me the only good steak they carry is the most expensive one, and that’s why mine tasted like garbage. Outback free for 6 years now
Hank: "Firm but with little give, yup, these are medium rare." Bobby: "What if somebody wants theirs well done?" Hank: "We ask them kindly, but firmly, to leave."
@@bbylasagna Hank: "You brought charcoal into our house!?" Peggy: "I didn't know what it was; Luanne told me to hold it for her, I thought it was drugs?!" Hank: "There's dirt under our child's fingernails, you don't get that from a clean burning fuel!" Bobby: "You don't get the rich smokey flavor either." Hank: "Shut your mouth."
