@@tadejpeckaj1151 So I do agree with your thought on Brunson, would be awesome if he was still here. As far as contenders, I definitely believe they have a chance. I definitely want to see more games, obviously lol, but they have been playing well. I think the issue is that they just need more time playing together. Lively is awesome and so is Williams, so as long as there is no set backs, just imagine how good this team will be once they play 82 games together. Just my opinion. It definitely might be a year to early and they won't be true contenders till next year, but you never know right? Lol look at my diamondbacks and what they did hahaha

@@kind2de he just isn't getting much time as this is a new team and the main focus are the centres(dereck/Holmes) Small forward (derrick) Power forward (grant) And after these guys are set then the focus will shift to guards as Luka and Kyrie are still playing and will take care of those positions themselves

He legit cant guard anyone, he is too small and het bodied by bigger players and he is too slow lateraly/cant navigare screens to guard smalled guards. He also doesnt do much in the passing lanes or as help defenser. I understand where this notion is coming from-high energy players defense is almost always overrated-but it just is not it. Also hitting 1 3 a game doesnt do shit. If he hit 0,8 per game while being at just over 30%, it wouldnt change much at this low of a volume.

@@ControllerOverheat really are the spurs and magic really top tier teams or playoff teams and contenders? probably not. do they have a really good defence, probably not. so they beat may late lottery play in teams of spurs and magic and thats why when they faced a team with a really good defence, they lost. you think rookie lively was gonna stop the raptors on the interior lol. siakam would have cooked lively and lively would have fouled out.

@@ControllerOverheat there is a simple reason why dallas lost, dallas plays zero defence. maybe kleber, grant your your rookie center but if thats it, you got a big problem come playoff time.

Yeah grant and Derrick spotting up and playing the pick and roll, that’s the only way you get points in a Luka team and I’ve seen Kyrie have his worst ever performances except in assists and steals while he’s been playing for Mavs. Derricks whole 8 points and 2 rebounds a game though will surely win them a chip 🙄 That’s what I’ve seen. Just like KP who all of a sudden is good again since he got out. “Baby bird” is poison to any team and his teammates. He makes great players average and bad players average. Nobody eats with Luka around unless you relegate yourself to a spot up shooter, he turns every other teammate into a role player or playing the pick and roll like the rookie

@@FearTheIndoorHorseRancherNice try buddy but the Mavericks have the 7th fastest pace this season so he's definitely not wasting possessions or the shot clock whatsoever. DJJ and Grant's roles are literally spot up shooters so that is the way they will get their points. If you think only spot up shooters contribute points then you are horribly wrong. Mavs have Kyrie, THJ, Hardy who are aggressive at driving to the basket if they get the chance and can self-create if they need to. You can go ahead and blame Luka for the shots Kyrie normally make because that is what you are supposed to believe right? Oh did I also forget to mention that the Mavs have a better record than the team KP is currently on?
