Just to give you some insight, para64 is part of Paragon, who also does 1/18th and 1/43rd scale premium model cars. They have been around even prior under the name Jadi (not JADA)...and worked with Revell Germany. They have been around for at least 22 years 🙂
Its a sin that some companies choose to not allow their cars to roll. It seems like every company always changes and I wish one company always stuck to having legit headlights and taillights vs it just being painted on or stickers. It's so confusing and difficult when it doesn't have to be when finding exactly what is good if the brands keep changing it up within their lines.
I really like this brand, although they once gave me a car I REALLY wanted with three back tires. The one on the front wheel made the car impossible to roll. I always get horrible luck with these types of brands like Johnny Lightning and Greenlight when it comes to the wheels.
I like PARA64 models, I have a few and I want some others because no other brands have them, but they are not easy to get in my country, and they can get expensive for what they are. I still think MINI GT and Global64 line of Tarmac Works are better, but these are pretty good nonetheless.

Great video! I'm one of those weirdos that likes to collect cars that nobody else collects, so this brand is starting to get my attention. With that said, I just want to know, how well do these guys roll?
except for the rough roling wheels, their paint quality and livery details looks rough and blunt also in respect to MiniGTs I'm here after the announcement of their Porsche 911 Carrera RSRs, and I hope they will fix some of the issues cause in their official website with those high quality images it seems like they learned nothing The paint quality looks blunt tail lights have no seperated details base probably is plastic and wheels looks good but rolls rough
I think they're reasonably well made for what they are but definitely not perfect and I do hope they improve the tires and a metal base certainly wouldn't hurt.
Not!!! (on the BMW new look). but I do like this company and what there doing. I like you like more unique but kinda normal or just a reg car. I don't have any of these , but who knows what the future will bring, if they release some cool C8's I probably will grab 1, I'm trying to get every C8 casting I can from as many makers as posable. Great video, Thanks.
Definitely a cool brand maybe as time goes on they will change to metal bases I've got some tarmac works cars with plastic bases some very good looking cars you have there 👍👍👍
The Para64 remind me a bit of Mini GT in the way they approach their detail. Overall details on the castings are good. Their RUF CTR, BMW M8 and BMW i8 are some of their best yet. They don't have a large selection yet, but it's getting better. Plastic bases don't bother me much and they are decently detailed, but i do like the wheels to roll wich is not always the case here. Definitely an interesting brand to watch. Thanks for making this vid.
Yep, lots of potential in this brand. They definitely have some areas that could be improved but the unique models they’re doing are very welcome to me.
Really like the brand and have chatted to them via DM like a few below. Seems they like to know what collectors think and think they are slowly becoming more diverse. Really looking forward to the AMG GT3 evos on their way.
Yeah a lot of their models are definitely boring cars but it's cool they're finding a market for them and I've grown to really appreciate what they do for what it is.
Because of you and your weekly videos on your new models i have found new brands and has maded my collection a lot better I just bought 3 Porsche from para64
My only other problem is they primarily focus on German luxury/performance cars. I speak directly with a representative from the company from time to time via DM and they seem like they have no intention on straying too far from that niche (it seems like they have strong ties to the UK, so they'll focus on what's available there). I just hope they include some regular, global market commuter vehicles. If they have Audi licensing, I would love to see some VWs if that's not much of a reach to acquire. Even if they stay in the luxury lane, the Arteon would be an excellent model to reproduce. It's such a beautiful car.
@@SquidCena yeah, I was excited when they were announced. I'm just not sure if they stuck the landing. GCD has been finding ways to cheap out on their tollings while retaining a comparatively high price point, so their value proposition is getting worse and worse.
Thanks for the review! I personally think this is the brand I needed to stop collecting matchboxes since I like "regular cars" with a more premium look. I love Mercedes so the fact that they have 2 models, already has my interest. Now if they can keep making AMG models I'm all in.
Hmm, thanks for the information about this brand. I haven't heard of them prior to your video. Now given the fact the I LOVE racing my die-cast cars, yes even my Tomica Limited Vintage, the fact that these don't roll or are iffy when rolling is on the table, makes these a big ?? for me. However, these are incredibly detailed, and have an amazingly great look especially for a diorama. That said, these are definitely and keep on the lookout for. I also appreciate a company that makes models that others don't. That in my opinion shows that they don't want to follow. Like say Nissan GT-R, or the Nissan Skylines, Fairlady Z, or any number of the JDM castings which have been overproduced since 2014-15. I'm not bashing it, I do like the models, I just wish they'd do more unique and unusual castings. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd LOVE to see a premium car company make a line-up of older American Motors Company Cars. The Ambassador, the Gremlin and Gremlin X, Pacer and Pacer X, the Javelin, the AMX, and the AWD Eagle. I'd love to see a Mercury Monterey that they used in the movie version of Cobra w/Sylvester Stallone. Even some 60's and 70's Station Wagons, or some 70's or 80's grocery getters. I KNOW everyone wants Lamborghini's or Aston Martin's, BMW's or Audi's, and especially Ferrari. But to see some off the wall classics would be great. Just an idea for giggles.
Greenlight is going to be the brand that will most cover the models you're talking about. They already have some of them. Of course not sure you'd be able to race them without doing a lot of work on the wheels.
Motor Max’s Fresh Cherries is an older line which had some really cool old american cars. AMC Pacer, Gremlin, Gremlin X, AMC Hornet, Pontiac Hero, Ford Pinto. One slight drawback for me is that it’s 1/60, not 1/64. And since it’s an older brand, you might get some models with bad paint rash. But it should be right up your alley. Rolls good too
