What is your WHY behind getting into the education field?

I’m a substitute teacher now with just my h.s and sub diploma. I love it which is why I’m going for my A.S in ECE. I was going to get my A.A in psychology but the school work was stressing me out. With my A.S ECE my advisor told me I can transition into elementary education if I choose too. I can also teach VPK and choose to be a paraprofessional in a public school or teach KG in a private school. I’m in the state of Fl..thanks for sharing girl !!

@@teachingwithteniahonestly not sure what grade but my dream role would be a support facilitator/co-teaching. I like working with small groups that’s why I’m looking to work in a private school or a smaller school setting. I have a friend who has a in home micro-school where she assists parents who want to home school but can’t bc of their work hours.

Are you required to handle all subjects in elementary education or you will pick a specific subject to focus? example, elementary math

Hey, thanks for watching I would say do early childhood, but double check with the school or system you were trying to work in to make sure that degree will suffice!
