You've gotten skins for sure, they have 50% chance in fact, and are guaranteed to apppear after two chests without.

You can be unlucky, i opend 2 S rank chest and gotten 2 champion shards, you can kinda tell with the animation. If the animation takes longer you're getting a champion.

Gonna have to agree there. That way, the masterwork pass thing would actually be accessible for people who don't get rp regularly from twitch prime, etc.

Don't think that will happen considering masterwork chests are the premium loot box.

@@redlight4800 it would be an incentive to play other champions and mastery them. Say you spend months to get S rank on a champion and getting the hextech chest you get a champion shard. A champion you don't even like. All that hard work wasted.

Legit had this happen to me with lux.... decided to play her got an S opened the chest and bam her ultimate skin, same thing also happened hen I played ap mf on a whim and got her ultimate skin.... I feel like riot is trying to tell me something, or perhaps I'm lucky.... one of my friends was in a call with me at the time of the mf one, and I was sharing my screen because they couldn't play league at that moment, so they wanted to watch me, and they screamed at me yelling unfair and the rito overlords have a bias

@@mrsneeze903 Yes they do have a bias. I have never opened an ultimate skin. Ever. All the skins I ever get are legacy skins, barely even get epic skins. I've opened about 500 skins (rerolls included, I usually reroll legacy stuff) and got a total of 5 legendary skins (I had to buy legendary skins for my mains, DC Jhin and Dream Dragon Yasuo, only for 1 of my friends to open DC Jhin 2 months later and another friend to open Dream Dragon Yasuo around 5 months after I bought it, says a lot about my luck) and 27 epic skins. Even though I almost never reroll epic or better skins

There is a difference between good free stuff and bad, when you want players to feel happy about playing the game without having to spend money to get nice stuff, you give them free stuff that takes some effort to earn, or depends on luck so you can get excited about what you may get. This way they feel like they can get stuff and if they want more they will just have to spend money on the game because you offer them too nice stuff with a price. Riot's problem is that they are unstopabbly nerfing and even removing the nice free stuff they give to players and focusing on money making stuff. They say emporium is on a hiatus but nobody feels like that, a lot of people believe they will delete it with the excuse that it takes too much effort to change prices twice a year when its just about money. Although they dont lose that much because a lot of people wouldnt spend money on chromas, not at that price. The passes have been suffering changes that make people feel like they have to grind or spend too many hours to get something nice and a pass is something you pay for, there are a lot of complains about the mythic system and how it barely gives you the chance to get anything unless you spend too much money when in the past you had more chances, and passes helped on getting prestige skins but as i said people are pointing that passes arent that helpful now on that task. And the 40 me chromas are considered overpriced because they end up costing more than the skin itself, then there is the ashen knight pantheon controversy... To sum up, not only they are removing or nerfing the nice things you can get for free that make players feel excited whether if they spend money on other things or not, they are also greeding with the things players can spend their money on. No one makes you spend your money, but you dont want to spend more money than its worth, this is not ebay. I understand rp prices changing since there is inflation and its not just a digital product, electricity is more expensive, riot has buildings, servers, to maintain, workers that need to pay bills and an increased in price grocery store tickets. But apart from that, the rest of their decisions seem lacking heart and just show greed. In a business where you give people something they dont need, but something they enjoy, money is not the goal but the consequence and riot is a billionary company who is forgetting who this game is for, its for the players to enjoy, not to get milked. They need to feel like they listen to them, in the end the game is for them. Being able to enjoy almost every aspect of the game whether if you spend money or not, giving things they want for money, and some other for free. The moment you dont care about the pillars of your product you are doomed to fall from the top, although i dont think lol will fall, it will continue existing agonizing being carried by the other of riot's games, series, merch, etc. So yea people have the right to complain if thats how they are feeling if they had nice things and now they are being taken away leaving the only choice of overpriced products. This is not the typical complain that comes everytime a big company does something, cause you cant please everybody at the same time. This is a different complain, is a show of feelings, and riot is not listening, the rioters on the media are hand tied and have to deal with all these feelings (a lot of people not being nice and polite when showing them) that a lot of times its not their responsibility (some other times it is) and the comunity, an already toxic comunity in a lot of aspects, is getting heated up, even the non toxic non usual complaining people. It's not just a business, as i said, they arent making a first need product, they are making something for people to enjoy when they have a bad day. And those people who are partly responsible of the company being a billionary deserve better than getting taking the stuff they enjoy from them. We are getting less and less "free shit".

Having pulsefire ezreal back in 2012 when we were kids was like driving a Lamborghini and we used to buy that skin for friends for their birthdays although they didnt even play ezreal. And now you will say that i am exaggerating and that it was only 20$ bucks and it was just a skin, but this was the beauty of it. Having pulsefire ezreal a skin in a game with no actual value made it even more impressive like so it was a very very very special skin. These days its garbage because kids find it natural to spend money on skins because gaming has evolved and the skin quality has also evolved.

I found the sweetspot to open 2 chests at a time, I always get a skin shard from that, sometimes 2. Opening 1 is bad luck usually, while opening 10 is not worth it unless you luck out and get a legendary like this guy.
